Another disappointing Minnesota loss. This time at the hands of Brooklyn. Oh well, hopefully we'll get to see a lot of Plumlee in the playoffs.

Brooklyn has now won 14 of their last 19 games!

After a great half by Nikola Vucevic going 8-10 with 18 points, he only took 3 shots the entire second half. I guess the brothas didn't want him going too crazy and kept him from getting the ball!

top performances thus far this evening.....

Vucevic, 22/10/4 ast./ 2 blks.
Valanciunas. 20/9
Kanter, 18/12
Hayward, 16/9 ast.
Love, only 14/9/3 ast.
Mason Plumlee, 13/8
Pekovic, 13/6
Rubio 12 assists
Hawes, 13/5

Still to play Golden State, Memphis, and Phoenix.

There will actually be 4 Western conference teams worth rooting for in the playoffs: San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, and either Memphis or Dallas. Memphis is actually the most White-friendly, in terms of % of the teams' points that whites score.

Make that 5. Golden State is somewhat worth cheering for. They start 2 white players in Lee and Bogut and Steve Blake comes off the bench!

I agree. Any of these teams are certainly good to cheer for, especially when put up against the Pacers and Heat from the East.

Thanks Spaniard for the update on those performances last night....

Nowitzki, 26,625, is now only 43 points from tying Dominique Wilkins for 11th on the all time scoring list and 86 from moving past Oscar Robertson for 10th. He only has to average 12.3 per game over the final 7 to make it. He also has 9,548 rebounds.

If my memory is right that is Loves third triple double of the season. Amazing and think of how many times he only missed many more by only 1 assist. Probably at least 3 or 4 more games should have been triple doubles. He is as good as any player in the nba. If only Minnesota can get the key pieces around him and then just stay healthy as a team.

What a night for our guys. The Suns win behind 19 for Goran Dragic. The Mavericks win with Dirk scoring 27 points. Nowitzki has now passed Dominick Wilkins to take over the 11th all time scorer in nba history. He will be top ten very soon guys!

Then Minnesota going into Miami and beating the two time world champion Heat. I love it. Kevin Love had 28 points and 11 rebounds. He also had a key block on Lebron James late in the overtime to help seal the win. Chase Budinger finally looked like his old self. He had some nice dunks and alot of threes racking up 24 points. I think Chase will have a huge year next season as he regains his confidence. This win is even more impressive because they did it minus two starters for the Twolves. Pekovic and Martin both missed the game due to injuries. What a big win and a sign of things to come next year for Minnesota!

This is how I watch NBA, if I do. Youtube usually has recaps, at least of the Timberwolves which is the only team i bother looking up.

I looked for his triple double and got this

wasn't lying about him coming so close to triple doubles other time, 2nd item on search is near triple double against Suns, 33 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists, just one assist away, one assist away from getting one against Portland as well

Dirk Nowitzki was named Nba CoPlayer of the Week. He should have won the award outright. He is having a great season and very close to becoming one of the top 10 scorers of all time in nba history. That still is amazing to me. It's exciting also to know that he has alot of energy left in the tank so his march towards a minimum of the top 5 scorers ever is almost a guarantee! The Mavs keep winning to so as of right now both the Mavs and the Suns would be in the playoffs.

Goran Dragic had another spectacular game last night scoring 26 points and dishing out 5 assist to help the Suns beat the Thunder. Again the so called experts cannot figure out how the Suns keep winning! I love it.

Wow, I just watched an amazing finish to the Brooklyn-Miami game! Miami down by one with 8s left, going for the win, I believe Chris Bosh drove to the basket, turned around and passed to a cutting Lebron James, who got the ball and went up for a monster dunk, and potential game winner. Mason Plumlee meets him mid-air, blocks the shot, game over! Incredible play by Plumlee, you have to watch it!

Mason Plumlee blocks a Lebron dunk attempt at the buzzer and the Nets beat the Heat by one point.

Rubio with 23-7 in a win over the Spurs. Has averaged 17 points and 9.5 assists the last 4 games.

And to top it all off, Dirk Nowitzki is now 10th on the all-time scoring list in NBA history, passing Oscar Robertson after a 21 point game against the Jazz this evening.

Pause for a moment and try to comprehend what an unbelievable accomplishment that is. The amount of talent, hard work, longevity, and consistency required to achieve this is simply at another level. Top 10 all time, with a legit chance to move into the top 6-7, and possibly break the 30,000 point barrier in the next 3 years. I really hope Dirk can stay injury free and maybe move into the top 5. He's without a doubt a top 10 player all time with an amazing body of work.

On another note, his good friend Steve Nash passed Mark Jackson on this same night and is now 3rd on the all-time assist list.

I started a Mason Plumlee/Nets thread about how Brooklyn had won 10 of 12 while Plumlee had started in place of Kevin Garnett. I think they went on to be 14-5, until now, Garnett is now starting again. Tonight, so far Garnet had 2 points/2 rebs. in 8 minutes, while Plumlee had 6 points and 2 rebs. in 6 minutes of the 1st quarter. Maybe someone could put the Plumlee highlight of him blocking James on his thread?

BTW, the Nets are getting handled by the Vucevicless lowly Orlando Magic 45-29 with Garnett starting!

Great video. I'm so happy for the kid. To dunk on Lebron and then save the game with the block in the final seconds has to be a great feeling. Plumlee doesn't back down from anyone. Brooklyn swept the Heat. Maybe they can make some noise in the playoffs.

I'm so happy for Dirk Nowitzki. Top Ten Score of All Time. This is as amazing as Jim Thome and his surpassing 600 homeruns. Congrats Dirk and I can't wait to see you hit 30,000 career points and get into the top 5 ever! Long live King Dirk Nowitzki!

The top comment under this video says "I think this was a foul". 23 "likes", or "thumbs ups". Even though its clearly not a foul.
