I would love to see John Daly steal Tiggers attention this weekend. He is quite possibly the only golfer in the world that could pull it off!

Woods, once again, is right there at the top. Can we please have one major without this clown contending?

The wind is wreaking havoc with every golfer except...the magic one. No one can make putts, but the media's favorite afflete just rolled in a very long birdie putt.

It's all over but the shouting. The media has been salivating over this for four years.
Again, only Woods can keep himself from winning.

I just tuned in the third round as Woods missed a 3 foot birdie attempt on the third hole. But not to worry -- after Woods' wayward tee shot on the fourth, CBS had a recap of Tiger's first three holes in case I wasn't the only one who had missed any of his shots to that point.

Woods then follows his wayward tee shot on the fourth with a wild swing and poor result, but it didn't prevent "Sir" Nick Faldo from cooing over Woods' athleticism in his usual I Idolize Tiger style.

I think there are some other golfers still in the tournament besides Woods, but I'm not sure yet.

Rory McIlroy is 5 under for the first seven holes and now has a two shot lead at -7. Woods is +2 for the day so far and is currently five back. Go Rory!

The resilient Adam Scott is 4 under on the front nine and is tied for second. Would be nice to see him bounce back from his big-time fadeout at the British Open to win this one.

Yes it's truly nauseating having to see every shot Tigger makes! I was watching some of the second round Friday and 10 to 20 seconds after his tee shot I was watching his second shot into the green. Clearly his tee shot was on tape and then we were privilaged to his next shot.

I was happy to see that TNT did cover John Daly quite a bit, but when switched over to CBS, it was all Tigger all the time.

I believe Woods is in 9th place. So even if McIlroy falters he still has a number of players to catch and pass. He's yet to make a comeback in a single major. The CM media loved to let everyone know how good Woods was with a 54 hole lead -- until that ended in 2009 when Y.E. Yang caught and passed him in the PGA and it's happened multiple times since -- but the fact that he's never mounted a comeback in a major is pretty amazing. I tuned in today when he was on the third hole and he hit one bad shot after another until the wimpy weather delay (it wasn't even raining and there was no nearby lightning and thunder when they called play but that's life in post-9/11 America) went into effect.

There's about 27 holes to be played tomorrow, there's a great leader board and it should be another fantastic finish, as has happened at the previous three majors in 2012.

McIlroy is now 7 under and the leader after 54 holes and Tiger is in a tie for 3rd at 3 under after 52 holes. Here's hoping McIlroy holds Tiger off!

Tiger in trouble on 17!

A win for McIlroy would give him 2 Majors at age 23. Maybe a chance for him to accomplish what Tiger has in Major Championships!

McIlroy's play was truly brilliant today. He ends up winning by 8 strokes, the largest victory margin ever for the PGA. He has two majors at the age of 23, both 8 stroke runaway wins. Fantastic!

As his own personal pin-up boy (Eldrick “Tiger” Woods) failed to deliver a victory at a major PGA championship for the fourth straight golf season, Nick Faldo, the British analyst with a dark mahogany fetish, was experiencing unfathomable mourning. Despite his poor showing this weekend, ***-do praised his tanned crush endlessly, constantly attempting to remind the (presumably both white and drunken) viewer of the good old days when Tiger was, as he put it: “Supersonic, and twice as good as the rest of the field!” ***-do’s devotion to TiGirl runs so cavernously deep that during this tournament, he'd sometimes even refer to him as “Ti” or “Tig.”

Unlike Miss Nicky, Tiger was actually handling his lame performance rather well, mostly mumbling curse words under his breath and lightly banging his clubs on the ground after poor shots. However, after missing an easy putt this afternoon, Faldo’s personal deity screamed out: “I can’t hit the goddamn ball!”
