that means we have no winning black quarterbacks, last week 25 percent of black quarterbacks had winning records, 38 percent of White qbs had winning records. And one of those wins by Russel Wilson shouldn't be there, so really it should have been 0 percent last week as well.

Andy Reid just lost his first ever game after a bye, savor the moment.

I was just watching the NFL Network and the host brought up the Jets QB situation. This moron Tom Waddle goes onto say Tebow should not play. He then goes onto say how the Jets are built to run the ball and play strong defense. Basically the way Tebow played last year in Denver. Playing Tebow at QB will open up running lanes for their slow plodding RB Shon Greene yet the morons in the media fail to connect the dots.

The more blowout losses the better for the Jets. At some point Tebow should get his chance.

Not to mention Tebow's longest rush is longer than Greene's and Greene has 670 career carries, way more than Tebow andit was on a qb draw, he had a hole but not open field like Greene's, he had defenders on each side for most of the way, he just had a great burst through it.

They run plenty of option plays with RG3, why can't they do that with Tebow? If they ran a similar offense Tebow would thrive in both running and passing. The leading receiver for the Redskins is the tight end, and Dustin Keller is the best receiving option right now for the Jets. Stephen Hill is familiar with only running a few routes, so you might as well simplify the passing game and just send him deep every now and then. They really do need to just run the option, the receivers suck, saw them run the wrong routes, drop passes that hit them in the chest, they aren't going to catch a difficult pass. Sanchez would still be mediocre if they had better receivers.

Giordano with an interception, he was listed as a backup this season, just like last season, I guess he is starting due to injury again, and thriving just like last season. Oh man, did I just see what I thought I saw? Hillis at the fullback spot? granted it was pass blocking I think he was lined up there.

One quarter down and Hillis has yet to touch the ball :icon_confused:

Great post DWID. I cannot understand how "experts" are unable to provide such common sense analysis. It is so obvious that the media just hates Tebow. Any of his advocates are quickly drowned out by the herd of loud-mouthed negative morons who are jealous and envious of Tebow.

Griffin is allowed to play in a simplified spread option attack that he played in college and is being praised for his play yet no one will even give Tebow the chance to play in the same offense he played in college.

I wouldn't get down just yet, they only have 6 rushes for the quarter, 2 by the qb, 1 by a receiver. They have like 1 first down, they should realize that maybe if they had a guy to grind out tough yards they would get first downs.

as i typed he got a carry with Cassel now in, he got hit in the backfield and gained a yard

Why the hell is McCluster running the wildcat? Didn't the guy that came up with it design it with Hillis in mind at Arkansas? but then the head coach wanted McFadden to run it. To make it work the best you need a guy that can run very well on the inside, and can throw a little bit. Most White athletes can throw enough to run the wildcat.

nevermind, just saw it, i don't think it was the real wildcat, just called the wildcat because a non qb lined up at the spot, still Hillis would have done well with it.

The league and fans must be in panic mode as their new breed of quarterbacks are all struggling. Oh what will they do? Nothing of course because as we know here that it is not all about winning. Just ask a few of our guys who never get a fair shake.

Happy to see the Pats put on an aerial show in London today Gronkowski is as good as they come. He is quite simply the most talented t.e. that I have ever seen! Amazing combo of speed, power, balance and coordination for anyone let alone someone his size. The cream of the crop. I wish they wouldn't ignore Welker and Woodhead so much though. It also seems like Edelman is being almost totally phased out. They need a new offensive coordinator but I don't see that happening. Wishful thinking.

Rodgers learned today how important Jordy Nelson is to the team and to his qb stats. Maybe he will keep him involved when he returns next week.

Glad to see the Colts keep winning with Luck being the most talented rookie qb out there but keep it silent as the media doesn't want us to know it. It's all RG3 or nothing. Haha.

Hoping the Giants can continue to roll with Eli playing some of the best football of his career. Other than Witten, I'm no a big Cowboy Fan.

Tonights game should be alot of fun. I see Manning putting on a show similar to Brady earlier today. The Patriots, Texans and Broncos are the teams to watch. After that I would take the Dolphins or Colts.

I'm glad Jordy was cautious with his injury, a lot of White guys would have played today with that, and wound up being hobbled the entire season, he would have lost some speed and people would have called his 1k season a fluke. Lets just hope its healed by next Sunday, if it was close enough to where he was testing it today before the game then maybe it should. I was rooting for Rodgers to struggle today since Nelson was out, just to maybe show people how important Nelson is, that Rodgers just can't make any receiver look like a star.

Gabbert played well today which is encouraging. He has been the target of a ton of criticism - people calling him a bust and saying Jacksonville needs to get rid of him. I think he is just going to keep improving.

Stafford finally looks like his old self too.

yeah that is good news, just wondering when the heck Rivers is going to return back to his old self. In 2010 he led the league in yards and had 30 tds to 13 interceptions. Last year 27 to 20, he struggled a bit, now 10 to 9, only threw for 150 yards today. They need a change of coaching staff.

Hillis 3 Rushes for 21 yards

yeah the leading rusher right now, charles has 5 rushes for 4 yards. I walk away for one minute and Hillis breaks off a 17 yard run, man I wanted to see it but I am happy for it, hopefully they run it some more, they are playing like they are down by 3 tds with all the passing. They need to run more.

The Chargers offense was bad again today, but the weather played a factor. There was a driving rain during the game combined with 30 mph winds. Not many people in the stands in Cleveland to watch it. And Robert Meachem dropped a perfectly thrown ball that would have been a 51 yard TD.

But San Diego needs to get rid of Norv Turner and Randy Mueller. As Truthteller has pointed out, Mueller is the Caste drone who blackened the Saints during the Haslet era, and now the Chargers.

Miles Burris gets better every game. He's already replaced first round bust Rolando McClain on nickel packages. As I predicted before the season, he looks like he'll be this year's Colin McCarthy.

McCarthy btw played today after missing last week's game and was outstanding. First time he looked like himself since his high ankle sprain in the opener. Pat Angerer is close to normal now, too, after breaking a bone in his foot in the preseason.

So I wasn't watching the game, why was that TD called back?
Dez Bryant's banana peeling fingers touched out of bounds as he landed with the football. Great game by Witten, Cowboys are still a mess though, didn't realize Sean Lee is injured, I hope it's nothing serious.

18 catches for 167 yards for Jason Witten, who should be setting the all time record for receptions for the Cowboys next week.

Still two games to go, but it looks as the two best receivers this week will be Gronk and Witten. The supa affletic qb's all struggled. Welker and Hartline but had sub par games though.
