Hall of Famer
With the season about to start, the Chiefs currently have a grand total of 16 palefaces on the roster. They are as follows:
QB's Matt Cassell, Brady Quinn, and Ricky Stanzi. At least there isn't a black quarterback.
LS Thomas Gafford. Are there any black longsnappers in the league?
K Ryan Succop and P Dustin Colquitt. Is Reggie Roby, the lone black kicker still in the league?
OL: G Ryan Lilja and T Eric Winston. The rest of this supposedly superior line, and the backups are sumos. So half of the 16 whites on the roster are at "accepted" positions.
RB's Peyton Hillis and Nate Eachus. A league anomoly. Hopefully Eachus sticks. He's quite a talent.
WR/KR/PR Devon Wylie.
TE's Kevin Boss, Jake O'Connell, and Steve Maneri. I was surprised to see Maneri win a job, but this is a bright spot for the Chiefs, with the only non-white being Moeaki.
LB's Andy Studebaker and Cory Greenwood. Greenwood is mostly on the roster to be a WSTD but Studebaker should play a lot, especially this weekend with Tamba Hali being suspended.
All in all, offensively it's a team to watch, with Hillis running the ball, white men throwing it, and a white TE on the field most of the time, since the Chiefs will be running two TE sets, ala the Patriots, primarily.
Defense will mostly be coal blackout. Did you know that there is not one, single available white player in the entire country that is better than Travis Daniels, Jalil Brown, Abram Elam, Tysyn Hartman or any of the other black scrubs playing DB for the Chiefs? All are apparently an upgrade over Jon McGraw or any other white free agent DB.
