8-10 weeks for Love. Ouch.

I prefer they be cautious with their timetable and bring him back later rather than sooner, if need be.

Watching the T'Wolves against the Clippers tonight.
Pekovic and Shved have both left the game and gone to the locker room with injuries.
The first majority white team in years, and 4 top guys - Love, Budinger, Shved, and Peckovic - are now out with injuries.
Man this is sad..... :icon_cry:
 
Yeah, we can hope for miracles but this season? It might be "Stick a fork in 'em" time, sadly. Every damn key guy got hurt. Sucks.
 
At least they got a solid win last night against a very good Houston Rockets Team. It was very badly needed to stop the bleeding. They are only 3-7 over their last 10 games. I hoping they can somehow hang in there but with half the team hurt it doesn't look good. I will continue to watch them and hope for the best. Kirelenko and Ridnour have played more than any of them and they are both in their 30's. It' s crazy but it's all the young guys that have been constantly hurt! Hang in their guys. Let's go Twolves!
 
The T-Wolves beat Houston last night to finally snap their losing streak. Stiensma is a big downgrade from Pekovic and can't fill the void. Love is a huge loss and even when he was playing this season he wasn't anywhere near healthy and his play showed. They are now three games below .500. It will be tough for them to get in the playoffs this year.
 
I don't follow the nba much, but I heard the Wolves had the whitest squad in the nba and that some of the dwf's and cultural marxists had a problem with that. Can someone tell me why their record has been so poor? Is it injuries?
 
Injuries is an understatement. To lose damn near your whole starting five and most of the key reserve guys is unthinkable but that is what has happened. The got Sved and Pekovic back two days ago. I hope these two can stay healthy. The Rumors of a Pau Gasol Trade continue involving the Lakers getting Derrick Williams and someone else. I like the trade as long as they keep Nikola Pekovic. The Twolves also refuse to trade Kevin Love. I'm happy about that as he is as good as they come.

They play the Lakers tonight. Let's hope they can find a way to start winning again despite still missing so many players.
 
Now Kirilenko is injured ---

Have you been watching the games? I completely tuned out after Love went down a second time and had been primarily following them through the box scores/highlights before that. Are the blacks playing 'em rougher as someone predicted earlier in this thread? Are the games a little rougher than usual?

I've been watching most of the games and yes I do see a little more anger on the floor from the opposing teams. I also see that some of the refs in my opinion are not always fair even when they are at home. Maybe it's just me but I've seen alot of games and that is my opinion. Regardless, they have to stay together as a team and battle through this. I don't want to see them break up this team or trade a fine young player like Pekovic for an older star like Gasol. Pau Gasol is a very good player but is too old to help them very much. He has maybe 2 or 3 years at tops to remain a factor. They will be fine as long as they just stay pat.

I don't see them making the playoffs this year. They have lost too many close games and the injuries continue to pile up. I just would rather that they try to get healthy and build some chemistry going into training camp next year. If they have a chance to get a shooting guard like JJ Reddick or Jimmer Fredette, that would be great. Other than that I would maybe go after a player like Danillo Galinari or A. Barginnii only if they can give up a few young players and not one of their starters!

We need to stay behind this team. When healthy, they are very dangerous and can help to change stereotypes drastically.

Everytime I go to the gym I always complain about Jimmer not starting to everyone. Everyone agrees with me. If you look at his rankings compared to the other two point guards he is better. Its so pathetic how this is happening.
 
Obviously, the injuries are the biggest story of this season. They've had a lack of scoring and 3-point shooting. Granted, they don't have their leading scorer, Love. Budinger was also scoring in double digits off the bench. Rubio looks to be finally getting his legs back, but probably won't be 100% until next year. This year is pretty much lost, but maybe they can play well down the stretch and gain some momentum for next year. I like to see a starting five of Rubio, Shved, Kirilenko, Love and Pekovic - but I don't think they've had all 5 healthy at the same time this year.
 
Good news and bad news from the Minnesota Twolves. First the bad news. They lost for the 14th time in 16 games tonight. Ouch! They led by around 10 but choked in the 4th quarter as usual. What's even sadder is they lost 5 out of 6 consecutive games at home. They just can't close out teams with half the team in and out of the hospital. They also released their back up center.

Now the good news. Kevin Love is back with the team and already particpated in a practice. They will really take their time in briniging him
back though as he was rushed before and it cost Love and the Wolves the season. Budinger should be back soon too. So within a month, they should have their starting five back even though there isn't much to play for anymore! It will still be fun to see them play spoilers and knock some of the other teams out of their playoff runs.

Rubio and Ridnour were sensational tonight. Both had around 20 points. Ricky Rubio is finally getting his legs back and also regaining his
confidence. He has had 3 straight 10+ assist games. They are consindering getting rid of Luke Ridnour but I hope they keep him. I think he
is one of the best shooters on the whole team and a good leader. Pekovic was good tonight too although the Twolves forgot to pass to him in the fourth quarter. It cost the team the game. He is unstopable down low in the paint!

Anyways, it was another tough loss in an agonizing season but I still love this team. I will support them till the end. I just hope the owners and management see the incredible potential going into next season!
 
Despite another close loss last night, I'm getting more excited about this team and the future. The reason why you ask? Ricky Rubio has started to grow and mature before our very eyes. He was 1 rebound short of a triple double last night!! He also has been scoring 15-20
points every night to go with around 10+ assists every night. This started a few weeks ago. The kid has been forced to score more and it's helping his confidence with shooting the ball. He still has a long ways to go to be a good shooter but I'm very excited about his future and I can easily see him making the all star team within a few years. Luke Ridnour has also been great putting up 15-20 points a night. Kirelenko, Budinger and Love are still out but they have been playing hard. They won a few nights ago and have had some really close losses. They could easily have a better record.

My point is to stay excited about this team. They will be even more fun to watch next year. Just keep your fingers crossed that they don't trade away any of their core group of stars. With this being all star weekend, at least they can rest up. Chase Budinger should be back within a few weeks from what I hear with Love not too much longer than a month. Lets go Timberwolves.
 
A monster game from Nikola Pekovic tonight - 27 pts and 18 rebounds!
Plus the T'Wolves won over the 76ers.
 
Its kind of disheartening to see them lose so much this season, but at the same time every win, or even close loss is an eye opener. The satan worshiping puppet masters have most people convinced that a majority white team could never win one single game in the NBA. After all blacks arent just better basketball players, but way, WAY better players than whites (so were told). Every time they even hang close in a game its a slap in the face of the system. I still cant see them staying majority white though. I hope Im wrong, but I just dont think it will be allowed. Maybe if they won the championship, but even then its not a guarantee.

Just look at the Lakers and many other talented teams struggling and part of it is due to injuries. With the Twolves it is 100% due to injuries. Not even the Heat, Thunder or Clippers would be any good if they lost their whole starting five as well. Then the Twolves even lost many of their bench players which took away their depth. They have been a walking M.A.S.H. Unit all year long and it has take it's toll. The opposing teams just wear them down in the 2nd half of games. It almost happened again last night as they only had one field goal in the fourth quarter. Without depth on the bench, they run out of gas night after night. It's sad to watch and then on top of that they have had way too many close losses. It's heartbreaking!

I'm still pumped to see what they can do over this second half of the season. They have won two in a row and Budinger and Love will hopefullly be back by the end of March. Keeping my fingers crossed. Next year they will be dangerous. The other key is that so many of their young players have got invaluable experience which also bodes well for nex season. Stay behind this team guys!
 
Another loss for the Twolves in another game that they fall apart down the stretch. They lost by 1 flipping point in a game that they led 95% of the game. I've seen it too many times and it's the little things that beat them. Missed free throws. Poor three point shooting. This is where they really miss Chase and Kevin Love. Turnovers and just bad defense to close out the game. The home announcers pointed out again how hard it is for this team to get the calls they need but they have to just man up and not have excused.

On a bright side. Ricky Rubio is flat out amazing. Look at these stats. Ricky had 16 points, 11 assists, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. The guy can do anything on the court. He was even 10 of 11 from the free throw line. He gets better with each and every night. Hid defense is as good as any player in the league! Rubio will make some future all defensive teams in my honest opinion. He has very few weaknesses anywhere and he looks to be totally healthy again. What I like as well is how angry he was after the loss. He is as competetive as they come. He hates to lose. The Twolves are in good hands with him as their leader. I just can't wait to see this team healthy. I wonder how much longer it will be? Anyways, it was a good game despite the loss.

On the Warriors, David Lee had another double/double and he is leading the nba in that category!
 
A little bit of good news for the T'Wolves is that Ricky Rubio is finally coming around after last year's knee injury.
Today he had 21 pts, 10 assists, 6 rbds, and 3 steals.
The night before he had a triple double:
21 pts, 12 assists, and 13 rebounds!

The bad news is that they are without their entire starting front court - Kevin Love, Nikola Pekovic, and Andrei Kirilenko (not to even mention Chase Budinger) - and their guard play which is very good, is not enough, and so they continue to lose games.
They have now lost 15 out of the last 16 road games....

Yeah, it's interesting. I felt the tone at the beginning of the season was generally positive for this team (outside of the occasional, radical article complaining about the paucity of blacks). I think this team has support. They just have to get healthy and then really come together and focus.
 
I see from the box score that Chase Budinger is back from injury, and playing again.
Kirilenko and Pekovic have also returned to the line-up.
However, they still lost tonight to the Bulls.
I guess it's going to take them awhile to get back to game shape and shake off the rust. Especially Budinger.
 
It's been a very tough year but the Twolves are starting to play some serious basketball lately. Since Chase Budinger has returned, they are a totally different team. The only lost to the Lakers by 2 points a few nights ago but came back and easily beat the playoff bound OKC Thunder tonight. It's the 2nd time this year that they beat the Oklahoma Thunder who is one of the favorites for the championship. Pekovic, Rubio, Budinger and all of the guys played great.

What's amazing is that they still are missing their best player and someday future nba mvp Kevin Love. If they can beat these teams without him, just wait till he is back healthy. Mark my words. No one will look forward to playing the Wolves next season! Barring injuries, they are going to make the playoffs in 2014! Count on it! What a great team to watch. Kevin Love is going to be rechecked out by the Team Doctor. Hopefully he will return for the final couple of weeks.
