So far they are not very good and they don't really have injuries to blame. Bench strength could improve but... At this rate they are making caste thinkers happy even if there are a few blacker teams that are worse). Pretty soon it'll be determined the Love needs more "defence, speed and athleticism" around him. Nearly a fourth a way into the regular season too. I was glad to see the Timberwolves get back to their winning ways last night. Love and Pekovic both scored 21 points to help them get the win in a close game. They play again tonight. Their schedule the last two weeks has been brutal and it is going to continue. They need Chase back. Reports are that he should play sometime this month. He has been practicing with the team. Hope they can get on a roll. Staying around the 500 mark isn't going to get you anywhere. It's just sad that they play in the west because that is where most of the elite teams are outside of Miami and Indiana. The western conf. has always been very tough for any team. I think they will be ok but they have to say healthy and contniue building team chemistry.

Rome wasn't built in a day. So maybe we will have to look at this team with tempered short term expectations. I just hope they don't break it up before they have a chance to succeed. It's always a race against the clock.
