Guess who once again was snubbed as the Rooney Rulers MVP for the 2011 season? Big Ben, whose amazing toughness and Hall of Fame caliber talent is almost as important to his team as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are to theirs. WR Antonio Brown received the honor instead in voting by the team's nearly 90 percent black roster. Roethlisberger, who has led the Rooney Rulers to three Super Bowl appearances during his still young career, winning two of them, has routinely been overlooked by his teammates when it comes to the team MVP award. But no "responsible" member of the Pittsburgh branch of the corporate media will ever investigate whether such consistent voting patterns are the result of a racially motivated agenda. After all, that would be insensitive, if not downright racist.

While the "Steeler Nation" DWFs remain deep in mourning for the rest of the winter if not for years to come, here's how deeply affected their center was by the loss. From a column by Ron Cook:

I long have maintained a lot of fans take losses harder than the players. The fans replay the game for months and never really get over it. The players realize it's a business, set it aside quickly and get on with their lives. The Steelers lost an AFC wild-card game Sunday to the Denver Broncos, 29-23, in overtime. It was a crushing defeat by any measure. But, by the weekend, many of the players will be vacationing at exotic locales. Others will drive home to their mansions in their luxury cars. And the fans? They still will be wondering what would have happened if wide receiver Mike Wallace hadn't dropped that 52-yard pass early in the second quarter or if center Doug Legursky hadn't snapped the ball over quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's head late in the first half or if cornerback Ike Taylor had just tackled wide receiver Demaryius Thomas in overtime.

I offer Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey as further proof of my theory.

"I'm rich play for the steelers and have a awesome life!" he tweeted soon after the game. "u wish u had my life!!"

A little context is in order:

Apparently, Pouncey, who did not play against the Broncos because of a high ankle sprain, forcing Legursky to take over the position, tweeted after the loss that his followers should purchase a rapper's music. Some fans were put off by his timing. Moments earlier, the season had ended painfully for his team -- their team -- in the Rocky Mountains. They also weren't happy that Pouncey missed another big game. The guy might be an All-Pro, but can you count on him? He sat out Super Bowl XLV in February with a similar high ankle sprain. The Steelers lost to the Green Bay Packers, 31-25.

At least one Pouncey follower -- someone named Rick -- took such offense that he responded and turned Pouncey into a Twitter fool, emphasis on the word fool.

"what do u do for a living besides bothering me right now ... " Pouncey tweeted.
"I will idiot!! you enjoy your lame life!!

"your a loser Rick! get a life I hate people like u! dont talk about my life dumb [expletive].
"unfollow me then loser!!

"I'm done talking to losers!"

I had to double-check that the malicious, offensive, vulgar words were coming from Pouncey. For a second, I thought I had tapped into Santonio Holmes' Twitter feed by mistake. You remember Holmes when he played for the Steelers? Urging a fan to kill himself because the fan had the nerve to criticize him for getting into yet another legal dust-up? Right before the Steelers traded him to the New York Jets, who now can't wait to get rid of him because he's also a cancer in their locker room?

Speaking of real losers.

By Monday morning, someone -- perhaps his agent or a Steelers official -- must have contacted Pouncey to tell him he came off like a jerk and how no player can win by taking on the fans. He tweeted the standard, if -- I'm guessing right -- insincere apology.

"I like to take the time to apologize for my action. it's just hard to end like that an I couldn't help my team fight.

"next year goal come back healthily an stronger. so I promise next year the year."

Great find, Don, as always. Pouncey’s fetid sentence structure, punctuation, word usage, and overall grammar reads like that of an illiterate, hardened street Negro instead of a college-educated student-athlete. And the few intelligible passages are rank with such raw cruelty and childish name-calling…

Pouncey said:

I found an ironic, yet pertinent quote from Pouncey, obtained the day he was drafted by Pittsburg…

Pouncey said:
"I just had such a connection with them. I grew up a Steelers fan, the whole community. I mean, their fans are so amazing. It's a great opportunity for me and I can't wait to get to work."

To the inebriated whites comprising “Zulu Nation,â€￾ please take heed of your wake-up call.

Not to make excuses but his twitter grammer is pretty standard for most anyone that uses anykind of texting apps. It's another sign of the devolution of our culture. All the old ways must die and that includes grammer, sentence structure, and proper english.

I've found the Steeler's new kicker or punter (or both!)
Imagine if they actually did draft one of these guys...probably the kicker; as a Redskins fan I know Shuisam is not that great. Then they dump Legursky...Hoke and Miller are probably long gone...they could concievably get down to Roethlisberger, Miller, Kiesel, and a long snapper and punter. Has a team gone down to 5 whites on the roster before?

I actually cheer for the Steelers to get blacker, as a think it will speed up their demise and I wouldn't wish playing for the Steelers on a white athlete. I would rather an NFL with some really white teams and some really black team than an even mix, for obvious reasons.

Now they've added yet another black QB, journeyman Troy Smith. Keisel is up there in years; he has maybe one or two seasons left. This team literally could get down to five or less Whites by 2013 if they have another all-black draft in April, which seems likely, and possibly even in 2012. Big Ben turns 30 this year, but his career is being shortened by the endless hits he takes thanks to the Steelers' annual porous sumo-dominated line. Who knows how much longer even he'll be around. . .

Woody: I believe the lowest total for white men for a 53-man roster prior to this season was 9. The Steelers started this year at that number, and were down to 7 by season's end once Smith and Hoke were put on the IR.

Not only did they sign Troy Smith, they also picked up former Aggie QB Jerrod Johnson.

I figure Batch will retire and Dixon will be elsewhere-maybe TO's Texas team. I can easily see them with the 2-4 QB options for next year being Leftwich, T. Smith and Johnson.

Tomlin figures the more Big Ben has to play injured, the sooner his career will be over with. His goal is to draft a black QB high in the next 2 years and then move him into the lineup as Big Ben fades.

Obviously I hope I'm wrong, but I would be shocked if they draft a white QB this draft or the next.

I could see the Steelers drafting Russell Wilson and then letting him become a starter in a couple of seasons. I remember them drafting a couple of white offensive linemen a few years ago but they are nowhere to be found. I think they were cut by black supremacist Mike Tomlin. If this turns out to be another coal black draft for the Steelers I don't even want to know what's next.

Given that the Steelers are black supremacist to the core I hope they do go maybe 5-6 whites on the roster with maybe 3-4 white starters.

And when Big Ben goes down because of that sumo line they can have a typically worthless black QB.

And then they go 3-13 and miss the playoffs so the DWFs can see the wages of black supermacy in a sport where the whitest teams almost always win the Super Bowl.

Of course, they will keep affirmative action Tomlin even if/when the bottom falls out next year.

Wilson is a possibility. I've put WVU's Geno Smith name out there as another after next season. Tomlin and Colbert will find one they like.

G Kraig Urbik was a 3rd round pick a few years ago and was never given a chance. He was let go by the Steelers after one year and claimed by the Bills. He started a bunch of games for them the past 2 seasons. With the pathetic play of guys like Foster, Kemoeatu and Essex this year, one would think the Steelers would've kept Urbik in the mix.

The Steelers like TE Matt Spaeth go to the Bears in the offseason and got absolutely nothing out of the black backups behind Heath Miller.

We know that Tomlin refused to draft LB Sean Lee when he had the chance 2 years ago.

My guess on this year's draft is that they might draft a white OL late that will be on the practice squad off and on for a year or two, while Doug Legursky is kept around on the 53-man roster as a backup for another year or so.

I would be very surprised if they spent a first-day pick on a white player.

The Steelers will start to fade even more from next season as the bulk of Bill Cowher's standout players go by the wayside. (It has happened a year later than I expected, but now it's here.) But the Rooneys and their DWF Steeler Nation will treat Tomlin like Kordell Stewart at QB in the '90s-he'll get an extra 2-3 years to keep proving that he sucks.

(With Bruce Arians retiring, I'd like to think the new OC will bring back a more run-oriented offense that utilizes a fullback and requires all TEs to block. I doubt it with Tomlin running the show, though.)

I was thinking about starting a new thread for the Steelers' 2012 draft and the upcoming season. But then some sense made its way back into my brain and I realized it would just be a colossal waste of time. Tomlin/Colbert will come up with another all-black draft, unless they pick a scrub white O-lineman or kicker with one of their extra 7th-round choices.

I'm counting on it. Looking forward to an eventual 100% black Steelers team, with a supa afflete like Dennis Dixon at QB and a perpetual 4-12 record:crazy:

He too.

This offseason, they signed a white scrub guard, John Malecki...but with the retirement of Chris Hoke and Aaron Smith, and Doug Legursky leaving via free-agency, “Zulu Nation” currently has an NFL record low five (5) white players on their active roster…Roethlisburger, Miller, Keisel, Suisham (K), and Warren (LS).

With punter Jeremy Kapinos leaving via free agency, this is Tomlin's chance to sign black punter, Reggie Hodges.
