Here are the projected white starters for the 2011 season. They started 12 whites last season.

QB-James Vandenberg
TE-Brad Herman
Tackle- Riley Reiff(highly ranked NFL prospect)
Tackle-Markus Zusevics
Guard-Nolan MacMillan
Center-James Ferentz

DT-Thomas Nardo
Linebacker-Tyler Nielsen( should be drafted)
Linebacker-James Morris
Safety-Collin Sleeper
Safety-Tanner Miller

It looks like Iowa will be a half white team.

Sleeper and Miller are going to be havoc in the Big Ten. Both guys are well built, rangy athletes. This team would look even better if Wegher was still with the program.. Would've been fun to see him and Burkhead go at it in the Big Ten this year! Reiff is a stud but will probably fall in the draft, because the media will likely criticize him as the draft approaches(Nate Solder)but looks like he'll be a solid pro prospect.

Unknown jr. WR Steven Staggs is expected to fill the 3rd receiver spot for the Hawkeyes. I wish the Hawkeyes would recruit more Kaspars and Brodells.

Incoming negro RB popped for weed and auto-offense.

Reports: Greg Garmon arrested

Iowa incoming freshman running back Greg Garmon has been charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in his hometown of Erie, Pa., according to multiple media reports.
The Erie Times-News reported that police stopped Garmon's car on June 1 and found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. Garmon also was charged with driving with an expired registration.
Iowa has yet to comment on Garmon's legal situation.
Garmon was scheduled to report to Iowa this weekend, and he had been expected to compete for immediate playing time this fall at a position of major need for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa's leading rusher from 2011, Marcus Coker, transferred in the offseason to Stony Brook and his backup, Mika'il McCall, also left the program this winter. Potential successor Jordan Canzeri tore his ACL in March and is out for the season.

Iowa has had loads of trouble at the runningback position over the past few years.
And Ferentz deserves every bit of it. I'm going to refer to it as the "Curse of Nile Knapp".
