This "pro team" was atrocious last night. I did some research about their "D".. and boy has Jay Ratliff faded FAST. And, what is with all the hype that surrounds Jason Hatcher?

Ratliff inks extension with Dallas: Cowboys DL Jay Ratliff has agreed to a five-year contract extension worth around $40 million that includes $18 million guaranteed.

And, what has Dallas gotten in return? 20 tackles and 1 sack! Oh, but blacks are so big and strong and can play to they are 50!!

An injury-prone stiff.

Dallas loses DeMarco Murray, their 12-point lead and the game. They aren't a great team, and I'm glad every team in the NFC East has 6-losses or more now.

Jason Hatcher really is "nothing-special." However, a nice pick by Sean Lee!

With Murray's ankle shattered, Dallas elects to sign AARP member Sammy Morris. Morris, who is THIRTY-FOUR years old, was once a teammate of the Cowboys current head coach.

Hey Jerry, why not pick up a runningback who isn't going to need to pee five times per game because of his enlarged prostate? You could have dynamic speedster Chase Reynolds for practically nothing.

They aren't a great team,

That was proven true once again. To be fair, though, does anyone "deserve" the NFC East title?!

BTW, it looks like Tyron Smith was a huge reach...

Bye Bye Dallas.

Tony Romo isn't "elite".. and some of the magic he has displayed in the past appears to be gone. I'm glad that he and Dallas have zero chance at a SB ring this year.

I used to be somewhat supportive of Romo in the past, but any "excitement" is now gone (and has been gone for a few years). I want to see a new QB in Dallas! They need to find their own Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, Andy Dalton or Jake Locker.

surprising, or is it:

Cowboys DL coach Brian Baker calls DL Sean Lissemore the defense's most productive player "per play" in 2011.

"When I look back, he's probably a guy I should've played a little more," said Baker. Lissemore recorded 39 tackles, itwo sacks, two tackles for loss and five QB hurries in just 273 snaps, mostly at defensive tackle. Baker compares the 2010 seventh-rounder's career path to Jay Ratliff and Stephen Bowen.

39 tackles in just 273 snaps is phenomenal. That's more than a season's worth of tackles for most full-time DTs, and even many ends.

to put things into perspective, that's about 3 games worth of snaps, 4 tops.
