Here are your projected starting white Colorado Buffaloes for 2011. Parker Orms and Arthur Jaffee will combine to form a starting white corner tandem this year
smiley32.gif
!! I wish these two well this year, and I think they'll do great. LDE Nick Kasa should be a great pass rusher, and SLB Jon Major is a tackling machine for Colorado. Ryan Deehan is a huge target for Tyler Hansen to throw to. Colorado looks to have 15 white starters this year, and I wish them will in their inaugural Pac-12 season. White backups on the two-deep depth chart who'll get some playing time are QB Nick Hirschman, WRs Kyle Cefalo, Logan Gray, and Jason Espinoza, LT Alex Lewis, LG Blake Behrens, C Shawn Daniels, RG Ryan Dannewitz, RDE David Goldberg, and RCB Parker Orms. They started 14 whites last year, 12 in 2009 and 2008, 9 in 2007 and 2006, and 11 in 2005.

Offense
QB- Tyler Hansen
FB- Tyler Ahles - in a fight for the position.
WR(X)- Tyler McCulloch
TE- Ryan Deehan
LT- David Bakhtiari
LG- Ethan Adkins
C- Gus Handler
RG- Ryan Miller
RT- Jack Harris

Defense
LDE- Will Perciak
SLB- Jon Major
CB- Travis Sandersfield

Jack, what do you think about Logan Gray, Senior WR transfer from Georgia? Think he'll get a chance to start or get some quality reps?

Oh yeah, thanks Highlander! I think Gray will get a chance to start with the Buffaloes this year.

Yeah WA33, I don't remember the last time that happened. I think Indiana might've started two white CBs for a game or two last year. Not surprisingly, CFN states CB as a "big weakness" for the Buffs.

Wow who would've thought CU would have more white starters than their in state rivlas CSU? 2 starting white cornerbacks is awesome to see, especially since they will be playing in the Pac 12!

Wow. Looks like I'm going to be a big Buffalo fan this year! And didn't former coach McCarthy lambaste the team last year for not having enough of the "superior black athlete" or some such rot? I guess they must have reviewed the area crime statistics during the McCarthy era and decided against that route.

More than likely these two corners will have good stats this year. The position will still be described as
"weak" by the media and DWF's alike.

i don't have any inside information or anything, but from what i've read the coaching staff isn't sold on Orms and Jaffee. instead, they expect the affletic freshmen to come in and challenge for a starting role. hopefully, though, Orms and Jaffee are so dominant that the coaching staff has no choice but to leave them lined up at the cornerback spots.

Orms, however, could just as easily be the starting tailback for the Buffs. his senior year in high school, Parker not only led the state of Colorado in rushing (almost 3,000 yards) ... he did so while averaging over 10 yards-per-carry: 10.3 to be correct. and he had a "mere" 32 rushing touchdowns. the kid is a PHENOMENAL all-around talent, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him emerge as the primary return man, as well. he did, you see, have 8 touchdowns on kick returns as a senior (3 kickoff,5 punt)

but isn't it weird that all the "experts" at the negrophile recruiting services only saw him as a safety? i mean, other than his White skin, what makes a 5-11, 160-pound all-purpose high school back (and i mean that for both sides of the ball)with 4.4 speed automatically asafety? the Caste System is so cliched, that it's a caricature of itself.

also, senior Travis Sanderfeld (who Jack listed as a strong safety) should retain his starting nickleback job if Orms and Jaffee don't get moved. Sanderfeld took over Orms spot at the nickle last year when Orms went down for the season with an acl tear.

it would be really cool to see three White men covering wideouts this fall. perhaps it will be the year of the mythical White Buffalo.

I think this team shows what college football would be like without the corruption that infects most of the top teams. When corrupt coach Rick Neuheisel ran this program and it was a perennial top 10 program there is no way that this team would start 15 White players let alone two corner backs. Take the corruption out of the game and get real student athletes and teams will be closer to the racial ratios of the early to mid 70's.

When was the last time a school, not named BYU, started two white CBs? Anyone know...?

Air Force and Indiana. It was fairly common in the early ninties when Iowa, Wisconsin, Georgia and Alabama all had starting white cornerbacks.

Two white starting cornerbacks? I must be dreaming. I don't think that's ever happened.

We'll see. It really irks the caste whores to see 2 white Cbs starting, when a juvenile delinquent from the hood could instead have a roster spot at that position! ESPN fails to mention Jaffe or Orms as possibilities at corner..

Colorado: Cornerback is a far bigger concern, but the Buffaloes had two NFL corners last season and they were terrible against the pass. That said, junior Ray Polk and senior Anthony Perkins, who's knee injury is often cited as a big reason the pass D stunk, are experienced and have skills, while Terrell Smith and Travis Sandersfeld have seen action.

Some encouraging words from CU Head Coach Embree on both true freshman Tyler McCulloch and Logan Gray so far in camp:

On other possible wide receivers who could contribute this season
"...The kid right now, it’s three straight days and I don’t want to say but I will, he’s a freshman, Tyler McCulloch is doing a lot of good things. He makes mistakes at full speed when he does make a mistake, which doesn’t happen a lot. He is very aggressive catching the ball. He is probably all of 6-5, and he has a way of getting behind people. I gave him [No.] 87 because he reminds me of an 87 I used to watch, a Bronco, Ed McCaffrey. I’m excited to see if he keeps progressing. He’s jumped out right now. Logan Gray has done some good things. Logan has a good role fit for us, a good skill set that we are going to use. We haven’t used it yet, we have implemented a few of those things in our fall camp, that is probably two or three days away so he is another guy that I see helping us a lot."

I wonder if another factor for Logan was that Colorado used a lot more Whites than Georgia in their win against them last year? I'd like to see both these White receivers getting a lot of catches this season! Hoping to see many Great White Buffaloes in the future!

Embree released his first real depth chart of the fall camp today, as follows:

DEFENSE
Travis Sandersfeld - CB
Will Pericak - LE
Jon Major - OL

OFFENSE
Tyler Hansen - QB
Tyler McCulloch (true Freshman), co-starter WR (X)
Ryan Deehan - TE
Gus Handler - co-starter C
David Bakhtiari - LT
Ethan Adkins - LG
Ryan Miller - RG
Jack Harris - RT

Other Notes:
-Parker Orms missed a week in camp due to a calf injury and fell behind the competition. However, he is listed as the starting Nickelback when in that package and is the backup right cornerback.

-Sophomore Derrick Webb beat out Senior Patrick Mahnke for a starting LB spot

-Senior Kyle Cefalo, 2nd String WR(Z), pushed Paul Richardson in camp and earned a scholarship from Embree. Should see some decent playing time.

Thanks for the info Highlander. I thought Sandersfeld was mostly a safety. I know hes tall and rangy. What happened to Arthur Jaffee? I dont know if he would have made a good corner but he is a very good kick returner.

Wow, that is good and bad. I was hoping I'd get to see Logan play again. To bad he couldn't be competing against blacks for the other WR spot. Of course that would go against the usual Caste System MO; loading all the Whites up into one position and have them all battle it out for 1 starting spot.

CU football suspends 5 players for season

And, unfortunately, starting CB Parker Orms is one of them...

BOULDER - University of Colorado head football coach Jon Embree announced Thursday the indefinite suspensions of five players for failing to meet the expectations of being member of the team.

The following were suspended:

  • outside linebacker Liloa Nobriga (sophomore)
  • defensive back Ayodeji Olatoye (sophomore)
  • defensive back Parker Orms (sophomore)
  • defensive back Paul Vigo (sophomore)
  • defensive back Josh Moten (redshirt freshman)
Orms hails from Wheat Ridge. He was the only starter of the five. Orms had missed the last game with a leg injury and was likely out for this Saturday's game at Stanford.

Vigo is from New Brunswick, N.J. Moten is from Carson, California. Olatoye is from Dublin, Ohio. Nobriga is from Summerlin, Nevada.

"We are disappointed that these student-athletes have not lived up to the high expectations we have here at the University of Colorado," Embree said. "While not going into specifics, there are no issues with law enforcement, but they have not met their obligations and responsibilities to be active members of the team."

Embree says the five are prohibited from engaging in any football-related activity, but are still responsible to meet all academic requirements.

Colorado is 1-4 this season. They play Stanford next.

Cu's 1-5 and they play in the PAC 12 now. It'll be interesting to see how long they keep their affirmative action hire in Boulder:noidea:
