reports are coming out that cutler has a broken thumb and will be out 6-8 weeks

csu's own caleb hanie will likely get the start! unless they sign a veteran ie a marc bulger who knows the mike martz system

Does anybody here have a take on Caleb Haney? I didn't watch any of his games when he was at Colorado State, and during his time with the Black Bears, I only recall his relief performance in the Bear's playoff loss after Cutler went out, and he was relatively solid from what I saw.

Bears will have two starting white safeties.The Bears have ruled out SS Major Wright (shoulder) for Week 14. Craig Steltz will get the start against Denver and will probably spend the entire day in the box, making him an intriguing one-game IDP sleeper. Chris Conte has been the Bears' starting free safety. Steltz is now in his fourth season in the league and he should have been a starter from his rookie season. He would easily be one of the better safeties in the league but it looks like he'll be forced into being a career backup and only get his starts when the "real" athletes get injured.

I hope Steltz has a great game. He definitely should have been a starter, but not on Hatie's Black Bears. Having two White safeties will undoubtedly cause some DWFs to do a double take.

This is a curious contradiction. Hatie allows one White rookie (Conte) to start after a few games, and he does well enough to hold on to the job. On the other hand, Steltz who should have been a starter by his second year at the most, has been jerked around for 4 years. Either way, as Don said in other thread, CHI becomes the third team in the last 2 years to start a White safety tandem at some point in the season. This is in addition to many other safeties who either start or play important minutes each week. The gains at this position are impressive and hopefully are not a 2-3 year blip on the radar. Ideally, we should get to a point where at least half the teams are starting one or more White safeties. A 50-50 racial composition (like TE) would be nice.

foobar, you made a good point about it being a curious contradiction. The Caste System is a hard thing to figure on its own, and when you consider negroes like Hatie as part of it, it is dang near impossible to make sense of.

it is just hard to make sense out of people like Smith, there's no rhyme nor reason to them. i'm happy that Steltz gets a chance after playing lights out last week.

Never be surprised at the boundless stupidity and criminality of the NFL's preferred type of employee.

Bears waived WR Sam Hurd. Hurd's football career is likely over after he was busted for running Chicago's largest drug ring. The story isn't over, though, after a Chicago Sun Times report claimed that "dozens" of NFL players had ties to Hurd's dealings. Hurd may end up exposing those players in exchange for less prison time.

Nothing surprises me with(Black) NFL players as they seem to be the most primitive of athletes besides boxers....:thumbdown: I wonder when this list gets leaked will the NFL players testify against Hurd like they did in the early 80s in baseball?

The reasoning behind the recent firings is simple. The black coaches, Hatie and Caldwell, are being stifled by incompetent GM's (Angelo and Polian) who are bringing in "too many" stiff, slow, unathletic white guys. By getting rid of those boobs, a proper Ozzie Newsome-type GM can be brought in to increase the overall team quality by only drafting playas from the SEC and certain ACC teams. Raheem Morris was fired because he was supplied with a superior team of bruvas, a "dreem teem" from the perspective of the folks who worship at the feet of black athletic superiority, and failed. After all, says the DWF, look at Tomlin and his horde in Pittsburgh.

I think I speculated before the season that the frosty relationship between Angelo and Smith would force one out if the Bears didn't have a deep playoff run this season. Lovie must have the ear of the Halas family because his tenure has been mediocre at best. If Polian got canned for one terrible season then Lovie should be run for 4 terrible seasons post SB XLI.

So, both Angelo and Martz are gone, but Hatie somehow is teflon? This is nonsensical. These guys, like Hatie and Marvin Lewis are mired in mediocrity year after year, and every once in a while, they do OK and make the playoffs (not because of coaching, but usually a weak schedule that comes around thanks to parity in the NFL), and that seems enough to keep their jobs.

As for Jim "The Sentient" Caldwell, don't even get me started. There's not one earthly reason why this clueless idiot should have a head coaching job at the NFL or college level. And yet, all we know is that he's still "under evaluation" at this time. What exactly is there to evaluate? Did Saint Dungy call Jim Irsay to make sure his good buddy doesn't get canned?

If that doesn't show how dopey blacks as a "community" are then I don't know what will. Obama's a Wall St puppet and hasn't done a damn thing to help the black community other then sing a few tunes at the Apollo, yet he's unanimously loved. Fools.
At least some Whites have the critical thinking ability to realize that "our" White politicians are doing an awful job and selling out our interests, rights and freedoms.

I deal with the "pigmentally gifted" on a daily basis and it is painfully obvious that 90%+ of them are woefully ignorant about almost everything and almost as many are consumed with racial thinking that is colored by cultural Marxism. Imagine the inverse where a White coach with the same last name says:

"Our future's looking bright, because I trust the man who's leading us. And that man is Patrick Buchanan," Smith, 53, says in a new Buchanan campaign Web video to promote the group "European-Americans for Buchanan."

"I have the president's back, and it's up to us as European-Americans to show that we have his back also."

What a country. What a culture.
