T found it interesting that Leslie Frazier said Tavaris Jackson "played a great game." Did I watch the same game? He threw 3 interceptions and less than 200yds, AP kept them in that game. After the game NFL.com headline showed a picture of Jackson with "No Farve, No Problem"below him.It was as if they had already picked out the headline and really didn't care if he actually did anything to facilitate winning.

9 whites credited with a start on offense for Pats. too bad Wright is injured, between him and Ninkovich we would have had a half white team on MNF.

did you guys see the power Woodhead had pushing forward on that 7 yard gain? He is the full package, running with power/speed/agility as well as pass protection and receiving. He should be the feature back much like Maurice Jones Drew.

I hope Danny will get the ball more as the game progresses, especially since the Patriots have such a big lead. I don't think 100 yards is out of the question, but you never know. He might do well to get 50. It just depends on how many carries they give him.

I would like to see him at least get 100 yards from scrimmage, but he would have to get more touches. He is avg 63 yards from scrimmage a game right now, to get 1000 from scrimmage for the season he would have to get 85 tonight and maintain that avg for the next 5 games. Which would be impressive with the limited number of touches he has and the fact that he didn't play 2 games. He is still on pace for 835, which is still good. Kevin Faulk only got more than that 3 times in his career, 2 of those he had at least 150 carries, Danny is on pace for 93 carries. So 835 yards is pretty damn good for a guy Jet's fans didn't even think belonged on the scout team. If they gave him the touches he could put up Marshal Faulk type numbers, but I don't think that is going to happen in this offense, so the best to hope for is 1k from scrimmage, if not this year then definitely next year.

Woodhead 2 carries, 11 yards
2 receptions 49 yards

Why so few touches?

he's in on every passing play, more snaps than Benjarvis, but with Brady passing it with no difficulty he doesn't get carries.

i am happy for Wes to be showcasing his return to full shape after the injury AND the fact that he can play without Moss!

WHAT A RUUUUUUUUUUUUUN BY DANNY!!!! 50 yards!!!

well it counted as a shovel pass, so now he has over 100 yard receiving.

Awesome run but doesn't count as one, it was a "catch." Oh well. I bet he doesn't get to score the TD either. Would be nice if he does though.

I sure wish that had been a run. I'm really hoping he gets at least 50 yards on the ground. I'll take over 100 receiving though!

Well my wish came true, but that was a freaking lateral pass, it should be counted as a run. Id have to watch it again, but it looked like shotgun formation and Woodhead was to the left of him, didn't look like a forward pass. Shovel passes, the back usually runs towards the los and turns around.

If Wes Welker keeps playing like this he has a very good shot of making 1,000 yards.

My favorite part of tonight is a toss up between the fat Jets D-line getting wrecked by the Pats O-line, or Woodhead's big play.

Yes indeed!!! ! 4 rec for 104 yards so far! Great burst on the 50 yard play...Gruden says all Woodhead needed was an opportunity...

I'm so happy for Danny! Little white kids playing in leagues are watching Danny on TV tonight...can keep there dream alive...they don't have to be just QB's!

Kudos to Randy Moss, for magically transporting ability to Wes, allowing him to succeed against superior affaletes. What a selfless player Randy is.

It's only a matter of time before Woodhead has a 50+ yard TD run! The 36yd TD vs Colts & 22 yard TD vs Bills were a thing of beauty!

Definitely, the Pats offense is so much fun to watch. Looks like what an NFL offense should look like. And they are beatin the tar out of much acclaimed Jets D. Too bad their sorry defense can't take on the "appearance" of their offense.

if things end the way they are, with Wes having 7 catches for 80 yards, he will need to average 7 over last 4 games in order to get to 100 yet again.
