2010 Week 13

I don't have time to discuss every play at the moment because of finals next week, but Kareem wasn't covering Jackson either on that first play. DeSean was lined up in the slot, on the left side, and his route took him toward the right side of the field. I don't know what Kareem's assignment was because they didn't really show that part of the field in the replay, but it looked like there was a receiver running a route besides Celek. If he wasn't covering anybody it was because he was on the wrong side of the field, not because he was lined up across from Jackson and allowed him to run by. Pollard was lined up across from Jackson, as Jackson worked across the field, he released the guy to the deep safety, who wouldve alllowed Jackson to make the td if he wasn't lined up so deep. And yes Pollard is a slug.

Then why was snail Pollard repeteadly lined up against fast Jackson? To allow Convick to have his great game? Why didnt they put a Kareem Jackson( a CB so supposedly he has speed to keep up with fast WRs) on Jackson ? This proves Bigunreal's point, that games are indeed fixed.
And it proves another point, that some defensive coordinators are helping Convick have great games.

Wow, y'all are way too obsessive about this "fix" thing. The only thing this evidence proves is something we already know, that some NFL coaches are incompetent and shouldn't have their jobs.

thank god it's Sunday and we can all go back to talking about accomplishments of our players.

Amen to that!

exactly. As far as Pollard lined up that way, some coaches are just stupid and don't always line up their best cover man on the best receiver, they line them up by the formation. So if the best receiver is in the slot then the two starting corners are still on the outside.

Yes it sucks Leonhard is out, but hopefully Woodhead has a career day against the Jets. I would love to see Hillis and Woodhead both go over the 100 yard mark this week

Don't forget Toby - the Vikings are playing Buffalo - the worst run defense in the league - hopefully AP will not play due to his injury.

yes, amen!

Have you guys been able to get consistent streams of the Browns games? I have to go to church right now, and I have been going to WOW to watch the games right afterwards. My dad wants me to come over for the Saints game and hes cooking food, but I still don't want to miss the Browns. So wasn't sure if I should go to WOW and just leave at the 2nd half.

i an on this paid site, live247, it's not too expensive and i get every single game in good quality. they have most sports.

snow, I've been able to get fairly consistent ones, mainly through videosvision. I would be at church myself but I strained myself pretty bad while changing a tire last night (the lugs were put on way too tight with air rachets). So I'll just listen to the service this morning and try to think past the soreness.

Will Toby even get to touch the ball though? The new coach seemed
adamant that Peterson would start. I'm sure the last thing the league
wants is another white RB to tear it up.

BTW, what the hell happened to Kuhn? I don't think he even got in to the back field last week.

thanks, hope your back feels better. I had the same problem with changing a tire a few months ago, well not that the lugs were on tight, I was just in an awkward position because of little room on the side of the road and pulled something bad in my lower left back, took a few weeks to feel right again.

Snow, you can go to atdhe.net...it may make you install veetle or vshare, but I haven't had any trouble with either of them. Red Zone is on there as well.

Cleveland is about to trot onto the field for their first offensive possession ... here's hoping the Juggernaut has a HUGE day.

Hey Guys no streams for the historic myth shattering game? Please someone come up with one.

Well, that was a garbage possession.
Ball-control passing isn't going to get it done against a team that's bringing a firehouse blitz on every play. Gotta throw it deep.

3-and-out for the Browns, though Hillis had two touches: a run up the gut and a catch in the flat. it's clear what Miami's strategy is: try to stop Hillis and dare someone else to make a play. on the first drive, the Dolphins were successful in that gambit.

Cleveland is going to have to open up the field somehow. Evan Moore, perhaps?

hopefully, the Juggernaut will still run wild.

In the pre-game show they said that Josh Cribbs was Clevelands most explosive player - wonder why Miami is so focused on Peyton Hillis? Maybe Cribbs can make an explosive play to open it up for Hillis.

Jimmy C, what channel are you watching. I checked CBS on the westcoast, and only a informerical.

Westside, that link takes me straight to the game. i'm not proficient enough with streams to know what the problem is, mate ...

Cleveland is trotting out for their second possession after the commercial.

Jimmy C, does one have to give a credit card or pay for access?

13-yard run from his own 6-yard line for Hillis.

Hopefully Hillis is going to run roughshod over the Dolphin black D.

Green Bay is wearing old school uniforms. Nice.
