Wow nice run by Woodhead - pretty good for a guy the Jets wanted to boot out of the NFL.

They constantly say what a precise game football is - but how is it guys like Hillis are slated to be "back up fullbacks" and guys like Woodhead are slated to be kicked out of the NFL if the game is so precise? Apparently if they are the bottom of the barrel the NFL is a game anyone can play.

judging by hisactions on the sideline, Manning is f-ing disgusted by his haitian wideout.

I have posted before and I will state it again. If the Patriots let Danny Woodhead become the starting running back and carry the ball a minimum of 20 times a game, he would lead the NFL in rushing. Yes this is a very bold statement but I truely believe this. In a fair world it would happen. Remember Woodhead had 168 yards in a preseason game. That was no fluke. They just need to let him run the ball more. He is clearly the best running back on the team. While I'm very happy the Pats at least play him, it is still not fair that he doesn't get the chance to become the superstar he was in high school and college.Let him run the ball more!

Now the announcers trying to make excuses for garcon. Come on...

"Collie looked woozy after taking that hit in the first quarter and has been diagnosed with another concussion. Collie has now suffered a concussion in the last two games has played in. He could miss a significant amount of time, as the recovery time is longer for a player once they have already suffered a first concussion. "

Good God - keep him out for the rest of the season IMO.

and right after the TD, he chased down the returned with a nice tackle. i'd still prefer it if they didn't use him on STs...

Could you even IMAGINE a world where an afflete with that skillset was expected to also play ST? :0

At this point, I would rest Collie until the playoffs. At the very earliest, play in in the last game to tune him up for the post season. He is so good though that I wouldn't even do that. He will stay in shape by running and the bike. Rest this kid. He is too special to risk his health or career.

Manning ignores Garcon, and what do you know, they score a quick TD covering 70 yards in under 3mins.

sick game so far. Too bad about Collie, but otherwise enough of our boys are getting exposure on the national arena.

damn Woodhead is slippery as hell! and his balance is like that of an Olympic gymnast.and i'm not even pointing out his breakaway speed or incredibly soft hands ...

that ANYONE who is considered a "talent scout" couldn't see that he has tons of talent is ludicrous. what he doesn't have, however, is affleticism. and that, my fellow CFers, is what makes all the difference in the world.

as an aside, Blair White Project looks much bigger than the "real" wideouts on the Colts ... "weird" that the affletes are never referred to as undersized though, huh?

Blair White Project with yet another beauty! He proves to be a better option than Garcon.
