2010 Week 11

on at least three occasions already in the first half, Pierre Garcon has clearly run the wrong route, two of which nearly resulted in additional interceptions by Manning...

it leaves me wondering where, oh where, is Blair White in the passing gameplan? and why do the Colts insist on continuing to play (andforce theball to)this haitian?!?

i would like to see Woodhead get more carries ... it seems that the Pats are trying to turn law firm into "the man" at tailback.

Looks like Collie could be out.

I checked on a Browns blog and several posters are also wondering why the Browns aren't using Evan Moore more. We here at caste football know why.

the Colts appear to be playing it cautious with Collie, as he is now on the sideline sans helmet and pads.

hopefully, he didn't get another concussion, and they are just playing it safe ...

Nice TD pass to Wayne, with two (Pats) blackletes in the vicinity. That's not an easy pass.

The Jets won...

Houston's defense is terrible

The Jets' are magical! One can bet on them nearly every week!

haha indeed! The Jets are going to be the worst team in the playoffs - betting men around the world are going to be putting big bucks against their over hyped butts in the first round, and they'll make good money on it, mark my words.

Unbelievable punt return by Mariani - how long has it been since a white guy had a kick off returned for a TD and a punt returned for a TD in the same year? Can't imagine that is too common.

Good job by Welker in getting his first TD since week 2 of the season.

As far as the announcers, I wish they would get their stories straight - is Gronkowski 6'7 or 6'6? They said he was 6'6 today but I heard he was 6'7 in pre-season... Did he shrink?

Pats-Colts. I'm hoping for a high scoring game with big production from Woodhead, Welker and Collie. Both teams need this game to keep pace in their divisions. I'd prefer the Pats, mainly due to Woodhead, the only White scat back in the NFL since...Dickie Post? Pats 34-30.

You're getting your wish - Welker with his first TD since week 2 - Collie has had so far about 70% of the Colts yardage (They posted Collie 60 yards, rest of team 25 yards) in the second quarter - but unfortunately it looks like he has been removed from the game for post concussion reasons - and Woodhead isn't tearing it up but he's being productive - contributing at least one first down conversion and no major screw ups.

I have to echo a previous posters sentiments regarding defensive backs in the NFL - why are so many QBs having 300+ yard games and amazing 80+ yard drives in the last 2 minutes of the game to win the game yet the black choke hold on CB and near strangle hold on Safety continues to be the one sure thing year round? How badly do they have to get lit up before a coach takes a chance on white DBs? There are certainly enough good college players entering the NFL every year to at least warrant a shot.

Sad to see Austin Collie out of the game, but its nice to see Jacob Tamme doing so well.

It does seem strange that if the "best players play" that defenses, almost universally, have managed to be terrible for the last couple decades, doesn't it?

back-to-back throws to Garcon ... the result? back-to-back incompletions. pfft.

yeah, i can't believe White isn't starting ahead of Garcon yet, how much good will has he accrued last season

OMG what a run by Danny!!!! TD!

what a run by Woodhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!! touchdown!!!

the first 35+ yard run by a Patriots running back in 20 games ... maybe they should get him a few more touches, huh?

What a great play by Woodhead. I think that is one skillset that is underrated when scouting tailbacks, something whites usually have more of imo, balance, so many times a black tailback would have gone down in a situation like that. Hillis has also shown incredible balance. Getting tripped up and still managing to regain balance and accelerate like that is amazing.

Danny Woodhead with the big td. He now has run the ball 5 times for 60 yards! This is what I said just a little while ago. Give this kid the ball more. He is the fastest running back on the team and he isalways capable of the big plays. Play this kid more please. Jeez. Why can't they see his immense talent. He is also as tough as they come. He can take hit after hit. The kid is just speical.

Wow. Go Patriots. I feel bad for Collie and I like the Colts but I have to root for the Pats.

Get on the Danny Woodhead Bandwagon!

If Mariani, Welker, Collie, White, Curtis and other whites are good enough to burn black D's it seems like there would be a white guy, somewhere that could cover them. But apparently not..... Pfft.

and Woodhead comes right back and makes the tackle on the ensuing kickoff coverage. damn, this cat is wicked!
smiley32.gif

and right after the TD, he chased down the returned with a nice tackle. i'd still prefer it if they didn't use him on STs...

more Woody and more Blair White Project please. what a great game!
