I just wanted to start a thread where we can post results from around the world. Here is a short article on the longest jump by a women in three years.

Kucherenko flies out to world Long Jump lead

Tag it:
28.05.2010
Russia's Olga Kucherenko finally cracked the seven-metre barrier when she flew out to a world leading 7.13m in the Black Sea resort of Sochi on Thursday.

The 24-year-old from Sidory, near Volgograd, smashed her previous best of 6.91m set at last year's Russian Championships. It was the longest jump in the world for almost three years.

Having won a bronze medal at last year's European Athletics Indoor Championships, Kucherenko then placed fifth at last summer's World Championships.

Kucherenko had an outstanding series at the Russian team championships, with the jumpers only having four attempts: 7.13m, 6.83m, 6.99m, 6.82m.

A distant second was the reigning European champion Lyudmila Kolchanova with 6.62m.

A new up and coming sprinter to keep an eye on - Julien Watrin from Belgium.
He is 17yrs old (18 in July) and just broke the Belgium junior record with a time of 10.44.

Let's hope he can continue his progression.

Another young Euro sprinter . . . 18 yr old Dario Horvat of Croatia.
He recently ran 10.45 into a -1.4 wind. That's worth about a 10.30 with no wind.
Let's keep an eye out to see if can continue to improve.

Jack Meredith, a hurdler from Great Britain just annihilated the European Junior Record for the 110m hurdles by over a tenth of second. With a very slight tailwind he ran a 13.32 at only 17 years of age! I think we're quietly stockpiling young 110 meter hurdle talent with guys like Meredith, Barrett Nugent, Lehann Furie, Artur Noga, and quite a few more. Also in this race Vladimir Vukicevic finished second in a time of 13.42 seconds and he just turned 19 last month!

What a sensational time by Meredith. I would love to see a few white guys that could get down to the 13 second mark or even sub 13. To be world class, that is what will be required. I want to see this race. Amazing time for such a young lad.

Apparently, UVA's Super frosh, Robby Andrews, just busted out with a 1:45.54 in the 800 today. That's the third fastest time ever run by a US junior.

Found this posted at trackandfieldnews.com by one of the guys there.

<DIV ="">Yesterday in Siedlce, Paweł Stempel won the 100 with 10.30 (fastest time of the year by a Pole), and Grzegorz Zimniewicz ran 10.37, breaking his own national junior record of 10.42 from a couple of weeks ago.
<DL ="postpro">
<DT>Both of these guys are yound so hopefully they can pick up where Dariusz Kuc left off. Although to be fair, Kuc did finish the season with a 10.21 last year. It's just a shame that he like Pickering ran 10.17 at a very young age and then never went past that. He has gotten slower. To be honest, he has been far worse than Craig.</DT></DL>

Maybe Stempel or Zimniewicz can bring some fast times back to Poland!
I really like the way Zimniewicz isbuilt. He looks like he has the right genetics and he is very powerful for such a young guy. He should still have quite alot of upside.

I liked your article and analysis of Christophe Lemaitre, White lightining.

Rest assured he will, at the very least run in the low 9.8's, without drugs. That alone will put him 4th all-time. I think he will break the world record if he has a drug program like bolt and powell.

This season is a lot better than people think: 1. the top 3 shot putters are all white americans, 2. dusty jonas, white american high jumper is among the 3 best in the world, 3. teenager Aleksey Federov, russia, is already in the top ten in the triple jump 4. chris solinsky, white american is number one in the 10000m and 6th in the 5000m.

Petr Svoboda set a new PB and a new CR for the Czechs running the 110h in 13.27 seconds. That's the fastest time I can recall for one of our guys in a while. I'm pretty sure we had a couple 13.1 guys before I started following track but I could be wrong. I'm sure Jack Meredith out of Britain can get into this range or faster, being only 17 and running 13.32 so far this year. With a time in the 13.0-13.1 range he should be a shoe-in to medal on his home turf in the 2012 olympics. Hell, his 13.32 would have placed him 5th in the finals of the 2008 olympics.

Olijars did a 13.0X a few years back since then he has gone backwards and isn't a real contender anymore. Scwartzhof had a pb around 13.0X too. I am pretty much certain no White sprinter has broken 13 seconds.

Stanislav Olijars ran a 13.08 with no wind. He is still hurdling and he ran a respectable 13.42 last week. The best he has done in a long time but he is on the downside of his career.

Although someone already mentioned this in the Pickering thread, I think it could have been too easily overlooked. A 19-yr-old Russian who was injured all of last year has come back and started running phenomenal times for his age. In fact, at the Russian Cup he just ran a Euro-leading 45.12 in the 400. Looks like he's laying down the gauntlet for Brady Gehret and Patrick Farmer in 2012.

Also, at the Russian cup, Yuriy Borzakovski (sp?) ran a solid 400 just to sharpen himself for the 800. He'll need the sharpening, given the incredibly fast 800 times being run by the two world leaders (Rudisha and Kaki) this year.

With Viktor Saniyev ( gold in 3 straight olympics and silver in the 4th games all in the triple jump for the ussr) as the head coach AUSTRALIA has become a force in the horiz. jumps.
Three of the top 10 longjumpers come from here as well as young and rising star Henry Frayne in the triple jump.

Plus Rief-germany, Shalin-russia and Evila-finland three more of the top 10 long jumpers are white.
To go along, the very best jumper Bayer-germany, and top 10 jumper Tsatousmas-greece, both not active yet; whites have destroyed that event as a caste event and when phillips-us ******* retires, american negro's are finished in the long jump.

"whites have destroyed that event as a caste event and when phillips-us ******* retires, american negro's are finished in the long jump."

Nonsense, there'll always be good black jumpers from many places around the globe, which is just fine.

I'm just happy to see white jumpers up there in the mix because it points to equal opportunity and equal encouragement which is what "caste" members have been campaigning for all along!

Here is another 19 year old german sprinter to keep a close eye on. Nice win today.

<H2 ="t4__element_full__h2">Felix Göltl sprints in the German top </H2><B ="News_Details">"I can not even grasp even" - that was the phrase of the day at the start of the Hessian State Championships on Saturday in Wetzlar.[/B]<B ="News_Details">Felix Göltl (TuS Kriftel sprinted) over 100 meters in 10.32 seconds for the sensational title - and the purely German in the middle top.[/B]

Pre-and intermediate fraction loose and he had graduated in long pants. In the final, grabbed Felix Göltl then after 20 meters of the Turbo: 10.32 seconds, exactly the same rate had been running this season in Germany so far only the Munich Tobias Unger. The EM-norm so that he missed by only two hundredths.

By setting the fastest time of the German annual Krifteler had never expected."I can not describe it.I would not have thought that today I remain in 10.40 seconds, my goal this year really was the final race at the German Championships, "beamed Felix Göltl after the ceremony. But rest after the great success it is not: "Tomorrow I will run the 200 meter course, more and attack again," laughs the U20 European Champion with the season of 2009.

Nonsense, that the long jump was/is a caste event? especially in the ussa. I thought the idea was to dispell the caste myth. I never said ******** cant jump anymore, I said the caste system MYTH as it applies to the long jump has been dispelled. Just some info. mulli, so the next time your zionist masters push the idea of whites not being good enough in the longjump you have some evidence to refute that claim.

So tell us mastermulli, who is the next black american horizontal jumper after Phillips? There is no one. And with your prison nation cracking down on drugs in sports I dont see another black american at or near the top in the long or triple jump.

Something of note from the European Team Championships - the British did incredibly well with a team of almost all white sprinters/hurdlers:
Andy Turner took 1st in the 110m Hurdles; Martyn Rooney 1st in the 400m; David Greene 1st in the 400m Hurdles; Eilidh Child 2nd in the 400m Hurdles: Laura Turner took 3rd in the 100m; Chris Tomilison 3rd in the LJ; Emily Freeman 5th in the 200m; Kim Wall 6th in the 400m.Edited by: jacknyc
