Here are the projected white starters for the Wolfpack this year. In a shocking development, Tom O'Brien has a good chance of breaking his streak of having just 7 whites starting. He looks to have 8 this year. NC State had 5 white starters in '06, and 7 the last three years.

This is interesting news. I can't remember an NC State team this White. I'm sure they had some in the 90s, but I wasn't following this team back then. Hopefully this increase will continue.

I checked out NC State's last recruiting class, and it looks atrocious. Out of 19 signees, I'd say 5 were white. 2 O-Linemen, a FB(to replace Gentry when he leaves,) a white safety (gotta have a special teams guy, right?) and a white QB.

Oh, I think I found the next "Mount" Cody. The guy is a knee injury waitng to happen.

I just looked at his profile closer and I almost barfed on my keyboard. Here is some eye-opening analysis of this guy by "recruitng expert" Miller Safrit.

According to Ms. Safrit, one of this guys strengths is "affletism"

Very large body who carries his weight well on a 6-2 frame moves very well for being well over 300 pounds. Well suited to be a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense taking on double-teams on every play without giving up ground. Could do well in a 4-3 where he could attack a single gap with his surprising quickness off the ball. Need to see more consistency with his pad level and overall effort, but the raw tools are there. -- Miller Safrit

From these pictures, it shows that J.R. Sweezy was skinny in high school, and it says he played linebacker as a Junior (maybe as a Senior as well?)
