Realistic and DD,I hear you.Gonzaga was once very White and have now chosen to go african and mullato. Now that Matt Bouldin is gone next years team will have not a one White starter for the first time in their history.I'm done.

The Zag's 2000 Sweet Sixteen team:

Matt Santangelo G
Richie FrahmG
Ryan FloydG
Casey CalvaryF
Axel DenchC

The Zag's 2001 Sweet Sixteen team:

Dan DickauG
Blake SteppG
Casey CalvaryF
Mark SpinkF
Zack GourdeC

The common denominator here is that these starting units were All-White.Ah,the good old days.

I too knew Gonzaga was a traditionally white team. It very sad how that institution broke such a time honored tradition. It feels like a domino effect.

Eventually it might reach Duke, BYU, and whatever remaining big NCAA program that is still white or white friendly. This really sucks!

IMHO, the "one and done" of mostly black players, has helped White basketball players gain more ground in the NCAAs. Some coaches want a more "stable" program.

In a way - when it comes to White basketball players' - I'd rather have quality over quantity. That can still happen. College choice is crucial. I just wish America could produce a Ginobili, Pau or Gortat.

Even Duke, with the athletic Plumlee brothers, didn't crush "stereotypes" against Purdue and Baylor. How few dunks did Duke have, especially it's White players? Against Purdue, people will remember Singler getting his fast-break (one-handed) dunk-attempt blocked by a black player, and JaJuan Johnson executing some nice dunks. Against Baylor, people will remember Udoh flying all over the place. The Plumlees' are still young, but it's difficult to figure Singler out. Will Duke have it's "signature" (athletic) moment against West Virginia? On paper, Duke has more talent and size.

There should be MORE Chris Andersen's, because there are several White Americans' with light-frames...

Very insightful post Deadlift and your post captured in detail something I have been waiting for in this tournament. A "signature" athletic moment by a white player that reeks of athleticism and everybody talks about after the game. The most likely guy to have that moment is Mason Plumlee with either a spectacular block and/or dunk which he did throughout the regular season. The other candidates are Miles Plumlee, Singler and Gordon Haywood.

If I remember correctly Matt Santangelo was an incredible athlete with a 40 plus inch vertical. He never got even a whiff of the NBA.

Yes Duke recruiting classes do look very dark for the upcoming years
smiley7.gif
. Hopefully some of these prima donna negroes change their mind or can't make the academic cut. Coach K must feel it is time to "even" his recruiting out. Doesn't want people getting too suspicious and calling him a White Nationalist.

Anyways for this year I'll be cheering on a Duke V Butler championship game. It will be the whitest championship game I can remember watching in my lifetime.

The "darkening" of college hoops is the main reason I stopped watching over the last 5-7+ years (& my growing appreciation of MMA...which is probably my favorite sport now (followed by football)). I stopped watching the "YO.B.A" due to it's embrace of the hip-hop/thug culture.

According to this article, there aren't any serious NBA prospects in this year's Final Four. Some idiots don't get the idea that one-and-done doesn't equal to NCAA success. They are in fact program destroyers. Carmelo Anthony is the only one-and-done I know who's won an NCAA championship, and don't expect that to happen again for a very, very long time!

>>>A "signature" athletic moment by a white player that reeks of athleticism and everybody talks about after the game. <<<

It may not be a high flying dunk...but it still reeked athleticism...Gordon Heyward floating in the air on the alley-oop lay-up was given big-time props by the black announcers....it broke the 54-54 tie late in the game too.

http://www.sltrib.com/collegesports/ci_14771603
With 2:51 remaining, Kansas State had rallied from its second big deficit to tie the game at 54, Ronald Nored found regional Most Outstanding Player Gordon Hayward, seemingly floating, waiting, for an alley-oop lay-in.

"We just executed that very well," Hayward said. "Ron made a good pass. I was able to find the ball and finish."

Well, ol' Dixie's watching his first (full) "Bruvahball" game of the year. As I turned it on, I only see one White on the court for Butler (& 1 for MSU). Hopefully, they'll get more Whites some reps. Looking forward to Duke vs. WVU!

..Watching Duke vs. WVU. Clark Kellogg (who threw his "potus" game against Obongo) is already talking about the Mountainqueers' "affletism". WVU's cherry guard Mazulla is a candy@$$! He takes himself out of the game after hitting his head on a Duke players chin (you'd think the Duke player would be rocked...but no).

Glad to see the Bulldogs pull that out! Butler I think has 4 whites who regularly see the court. (Hayward, Howard, Smith, and Hahn.)

Lets go Duke! Take out Thuggins and his Blackaneers.Edited by: Jack Lambert

So far in the Duke v WVU game, Duke looks more poised and skillful, especially the passing. Up 7 pts, Singler having great game thus far!

Nice double-dunk by Plumlee & Singler...too bad they had to call technical foul...

Congrats to Butler!

Bob Huggins is making love to one of his affletes in the center of the court! The game had to take a five minute break because the afflete had to have the spotlight - what a drama queen.

The only way this final four could have been better is if Northern Iowa and Cornell made it there as well. If Duke holds on this is going to be a great championship game.Edited by: Anak

Did you hear the caste lackey announcers groveling all over that scene??!

Those pukes were talking about how "emotional" THuggins was & "horrible" the injury to ol' leroy was. Of course, the "afflete" was acting up the injury as if he'd just been mowed down by machine gun fire.
