2010 NBA Free Agency.

I know. It's a joke how Scheyer is being treated.

I watched some hilites of the Utah Summer League Game today. The Utah Jazz will be a team to watch. Koufas should be taking Boozers spot. They looked really good and they should have a team with 6 or 7 whites on the roster which is fair. They also might very well have 3 in their starting lineup. I really like Gordan Haywords game too. He is going to be really good.

Korver is headed to Chicago. Also JJ Redick may end up in Chicago if Orlando doesn't match the offer.

I hope JJ gets a chance to start in Chicago or Orlando if they decide to match which I hope they don't.

JReb, they got rid of Hinrich so maybe Redick can start in place of him. I hope they don't just use him as a spot up shooter of the bench. Redick has shown potential this past season.

Some great news, the Suns got whiter.
From Rotoworld:

The Suns are on the verge of acquiring Hedo Turkoglu from Toronto, while sending Leandro Barbosa to the Raptors.

Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic, who broke the story, notes that "Turkoglu could become the Suns' starting power forward in place of Stoudemire, allowing new acquisition Hakim Warrick to come off the bench." Turk seems like a great fit in Phoenix and his fantasy numbers should rebound after a disappointing stint in Toronto.

That would be good news. I hope it happens. Still depressed they didn't go after David Lee sooner. I also was hoping they would have went after Mike Miller. Let's see if this deal happens. This would also get Dragic more playing time!

It's official. Even though Hedu is 31 years of age, I still think he has a couple of good years left in him. Especially playing along side Steve Nash. Good job Suns.

I saw a headline that mentioned that only about 10 million people watched the "Lebrawn Announcement"...

Sure, there could very well have been some crowds at some sports bars, watching what's on the TVs, but the 10 million number is truly TINY nonetheless.

It confirms what I suspected... Of course, Lebron was supported by the Cleveland "fans" when he was there (there's probably not much else to do in Cleveland?), and he will likely be supported in the city of Miamee, but "America as a whole" doesn't worship "King James."

James is now essentially in the Everglades, rather than in major hubs like New Yawk or Chicago. With all the wealthy negroes that have homes/condos in Miami, it cannot really be a surprise that Bosh and Lebron went from places that are very North (and Toronto "lacks soul food"...) all the way down to humid, TanEveryman, South Florida. Good Riddens!

Randolph had 18 points and Scheyer had 11 in a win for the Miami Heat Summer League Team tonight. Good to see them out there.

Jesse Jackson has made more racist comments stating that Cavs owner Dan Gilbert sees Pig James as a "runaway slave." No word yet on if the drunk white fans even care.

according to a buddy of mine who (for some reason) avidly follows the NBA. he said that Shavlik Randolph and Jon Scheyer are clearly the two best players on Miami's summer league team. he says no one else is even close to playing at their level ... and that's with a team roster of 20 guys, more than i've ever heard of on a summer roster.

Well with Miami about seven players short of a full roster, Scheyer and Randolf have a good chance of making the team although the Heat are a team I am determined to loath with a passion as long as Lebron is on it.

Mike Miller is now in Miami.

I don't know about this one. The media only considers him as a "shooter" when he's really a more complete player and we will have to see what type of role he will have there. His minutes will be down for sure from the minutes he received in Washington.

He will be lucky to get 15 minutes a game. What a shame. He might win a ring but he will be much of a part of it. It will be all about the big three. I would have rather that he went to a team where he could start and be a factor than to just be a role player.

It's not there anymore, but I read on Rotoworld where a guy thinks Miller might actually start. I should've posted it.

I was watching a few minutes of the Knicks summer league action and a NYK assistant coach was really super excited about a workout some Russian center had with the team. They were so impressed, they signed him on the spot. His first name is sort of comical -- almost like an ebonics verison of Tim

good find, Truthteller.

here's a brief clip of what the athletic Russian brings to the table.

It would be nice to see Redick go to Chicago and start at SG if Heinrich leaves. Redick is a talented player and could be the consummate third option behind Rose and Boozer.

Orlando is trying to trade two of their players to get Chris Paul. If they do, they will probably match the offer for Reddick and put him in the starting lineup finally. Vince Carter is one of the players the Hornets want.

JJ is better than (the overrated and past prime) Carter right now and has so MUCH more upside that it's beyond ridiculous that he didn't start. I just want JJ to get an opportunity to be a starter no matter which team gets him. JJ is a rhythm shooter and gets better and better the more he plays. It's hard to get into a good rhythm coming off the bench and not having the confidence of the coach.

He did pretty good early on last season when he was the starter for a bit. He's probably the best shooter in the entire league and has a chance of being a borderline All-Star in the future but he needs to be a starter.

Jimmy,

Nice video of Mozgov! He certainly has a great-looking frame.

If the NBA looked even close to this league racially than I'd become a fan again.

I've been watching bits and pieces of the Summer League and the racial makeup of the players on the court almost mirrors the actual NBA.
