This is the time of year that just about everyone puts out a mock draft.. Just about everyone fails lol because they aren't very accurate . Thought i'd create a topic with some DWFS opinions and our opinions.THis guy Chris Steuber, has a very dark mock draft with only 1 white o-linemen with about 7 sumos. No Toby Gerhart in his first two rounds.. http://profootball.scout.com/2/938960.htmlEdited by: celticdb15

Arrelious Benn?!? You have to be kidding me, right? I guess he is just one of those affletes who ooze "potential", no matter how horrible their stats are. I remember Decker was projected in the 2nd round before he got hurt. Jermaine Gresham from Oklahoma didn't even play a snap this year and is still a "can't miss prospect." Dez Bryant is another overhyped afflete.

Another one I'm fuming about. Anthony Dixon to the Chargers. 1. The Chargers already have Jacob Hester. 2. If they really want a RB to pair with Sproles, why not take Gerhart? Gerhart's style matches perfectly with Sproles.

Steuber is a typical black-loving, castean turd.Edited by: Jack Lambert

The drunk has a total of 6 whites going in Rounds 1 and 2. Three are quarterbacks in Tebow, Pike, Bradford, and Clausen. He also has Aaron Hernandez and Bryan Baluga. What an idiot. I wonder where he has Gerhart ranked? Thankfully the drafts first two rounds won't look like this but they probably won't be too much better either.

Bryant missed most of the season. Only 3 Whites in the first round?
Dunlap looks like a woman in his photo. I see they have the Saints picking a linebacker, everybody keeps wanting some afflete to replace Shanle or Fujita, yet they beat out the competition every year.

And he has Dexter McCluster going to the Jets, McCluster is 5'7 165 pounds, I guess he wants him to replace Danny Woodhead, who is bigger, has more muscle and is more athletic.

Are Bradford and Hernandez considered White?Edited by: dwid

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on what some girly-man, DWF "sports writer" thinks. His credentials are probably poor at best.

More importantly, the combine is where alot of white athletes "surprise" the "experts" by performing well. Right now that mock if full of over-hyped negros who will probably under impress at the combine like they under impress on the field.

Shipley should be drafted by the end of the second round the latest. Toby will get drafted in round 2 if he runs well at the combine.

Every negro from a somewhat big school is hyped up. Very rarely do they pan out but when they do it makes the media look good. If you hype up every single player of course some are going to go on and have good careers!! Every player is a "game changer" or "explosive". Maybe the reason every player is not a star is becuase to be a pro athlete you have to have more than just raw talent. Which is why most of these guys don't pan out. Not to pick on Gaines Adams who recently passed away. But he was picked 4th overall in 2006 and was already on his second team, will he be labeled as a bust or given a free pass?

Yes celtic, your point is well taken. While the black supermen will remain hyped, there are always the whites who shock everyone and sneak into the first or second round. These great talents are overlooked until after combines and sneak up draft boards. A few guys who come to mind are Jordy Nelson, Conner Barwin, Clay Matthews, Eben Britton. I think the mocks had all of these talents going much lower until right before draft day.

Bradford should be but because he is 16th Native American he is the next Sonny Sixkiller. As for Hernandez he looks partially Black maybe what they call Dark White in Latin America(Derek Jeter).

I'm not entirely sure on Hernandez either, but we have been including him as a white starter for the Florida Gators in our college previews the last couple of years.

I looked at some of Hernandez's high school scout photos and he looks White. He might be a Southern Euro that tans very dark and looks partially black ie Joe Torre or non White ie Joe Namath.

History has proven that at least half of the black receivers taken in rounds 1 and 2 will busts. I know this because I did a black receiver bust list several months ago and few of these affletes pan out. White receivers taken in the late rounds usually do better than over hyped blacks taken in the first few rounds.

Very good insight celticdb15!

Many people did recognize that Adams' was a bust and "raw"... and you imply that people might be "PC" now that he's deceased? Some people most certainly will. I saw a report on Fox Sports and they mentioned his paltry 67 tackles and 13.5 sacks in 3 seasons COMBINED. I immediately thought of "bust" Chris Long, who has 83 tackles and 9 sacks in just 2 seasons. If they can build up their interior line, Long will likely be even more effective.

anyone still think chicago made a shrewd deal for this turd now? he has no move other than a bull rush. which works at clemson but not in the nfl. i cant beleive we got a second rounder for this jabronie. (by BUCCS469 12/21/2009 11:51 am EST)

"People" say good things about him, but he looks MIGHTY angry in that CBS profile picture. Hard not to notice something like that. Oh yeah, I remember seeing Jordan Gross totally dominating Adams, and Adams was clearly lacking in the physicality/effort department. And "people" call Bobby Carpenter "soft"... WOW.

Thanks Deadlift the pointI was making is that I see a lot of bust in the DE's that are being promoted this year. Jason Pierre Paul, Greg Hardy(Ugly as hell)Corey Wooton is huge but has had injury issues(Should not be in the first round!)

I am really tired of all these mock drafts guys. Some, very few actually, are fair to white players and give them the respect they deserve. Most however, are written by idiots who seem to only judge players by their skin color.

It's amazing that a White athlete who runs faster and jumps higher than a black one will still look slower and less athletic somehow to most of these experts and DWFs. It's frustrating!

Mike Mayock is back to being a BCL (lol last word is lover, you can figure out the rest) No Gerhart, Shipley or Cooper in his top 5 per position, what a joke.

Draft Daddy's mock has just 4 Whites in the first round.

It seems likeDraft Daddyhas become quite bland. They used to write very sharp and perceptive little commentaries pointing out the stereotyping of White football players without being explicit about it, but I haven't seen any for a while.

That's just about the same as last year Don. We had 5 whites go in the first round of the 2009 draft. Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews, Mark Sanchez(I supposed he should be counted as white), Alex Mack, and Matt Stafford were all selected in the first.

It's still going to fluctuate quite a bit, especially since we're still pre-Combine. I can remember as many as 10 whites being listed in mock drafts early on last year, but usually it's the other way around, a few "overachievers" tend to move up closer to the Draft.

I just checked on Wikipedia really quick and the most whites we have had drafted in the first round in the past 10 years has been in 1999 with 7. Also quite a few drafts between then and now saw 6 whites drafted in the first. I remember 1999 because that was the year the "Big Kat" got drafted. I thought he had the potential to make multiple Pro Bowls and he probably would have it not for injuries. His athletic ability was as good as any linebacker who has ever played the position.

5 or 6 seems to be the magic number. Never being more than 7 defies statistical probability, something the NFL has excelled at for the past quarter century and counting. The fact that the league hardly ever varies from year to year in its overall demographics and especially in its racial breakdown at many positions is very strong evidence that an unwritten but veryrigid black quarterback system is part of its m.o.

The only difference I can see is that this year we will probably see the most white wide receivers drafted in an entire draft in the past 20 or 30 years. Then again next year looks pretty bleak in regards to white receivers and things will be back to normal.

Yeah, I was gonna add that it's very difficult for me to be optimistic about the white WRs this year based on the past 30 years, but I very much hope I'm wrong. But still, if experience is any guide, most or all of them will get screwed. The possible silver lining is that as o-lines continue to blacken yearly, the NFL's "learned elders" may not want a coal black league outside of QB and kicker, and so the uptick in White WRs, TEs and LBs will continue.

I agree they have not stuck their necks out this year as they usually do.

When I looked at Draft Daddy I expected at least 7 or 8 projected in their mock. Even they buy into the hype I suppose.
