Colossal first round bust Troy Williamson, he of the 87 career catches and 1,131 total yards in five seasons, remains in the hunt to be a starter for the Jaguars, the same team that cut the eminently more talented Chris McGaha before training camp even opened. Matt Jones was on pace to nearly equal Williamson's career totals just in 2008 before he was suspended, but he's been whiteballed while Williamson remains one of a gaggle of black retreads in the league given close to a decade to "blossom." And of course it was "Black Jack" Del Rio whoseemingly did everything possible to ruin Jones' confidence and ability.

Contrary to previous reports, coach Jack Del Rio indicated that Troy Williamson is very much in the mix for the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver job. Del Rio insists Williamson is actually playing better in this year's camp than he did last year before a breakout preseason. He's battling Mike Thomas and Jarett Dillard, though Dillard has been sidelined with a stress fracture in his foot. Don't expect fantasy value to come out of this situation unless Thomas begins to clearly separate.

From Rotoworld: Jaguars.com's Vic Ketchman says Troy Williamson "hasn't been written off," but he better "turn it on soon." Williamson, whose hands have failed him for years, suffered another drop in a recent scrimmage against the Falcons. He's not going to beat out Mike Thomas for the No. 2 job, and Jarett Dillard may pass him as soon as he recovers from a stress fracture.

I'm calling racism on this one. After all the dude is only in his sixth season. He needs at least four more seasons to "develop." I predict great things for the young man if only he would get a fair opportunity to shine. It makes me sick to think thatthe notoriously anti-black Jaguars may be giving up on Williamson already.

Wondering what the chances of rookie RB Chad Kackert making the 53 man roster?? Does he land on the practice squad??The Jaguars did not run the ball very much tonight vs Eagles...as a team only 9 rushes for 14 yards;Kackert had 1 carry for 2 yards..

WR- John Matthews caught a TD tonight....should make the team IMO!

I hope John Matthews makes JAX roster. I noticed on the TD, the NFL network spent the next minute talking about the burned Eagles DB afflete and showing him on the screen for whatever odd reason.
The WR scoring was not even an after thought. More like phantom of some kind.

At least Jags look to be getting a shade lighter here and there.
Who were the white LBs playing the in the 2nd half? Do they have shots at making the roster?

Russell Allen is another LB that should make the team and make an impact. Maybe McCown will start over Garrard at some point.

McCown was awesome last night. I think he and his brother are both destined to never get real opportunities to start in the NFL, butit seems like even Jack Del Rio and rest of the organization realizethey will never be a great team with an average quarterback at the helm and hopefully this will be Garrard's last year as the starter.

I agree on Garrard Don. I have a hard time believing they will not pick up a qb early in the draft next year esp. with great talents like Locker, Luck and Mallet available.

True assessment..with an average QB likeGarrard the Jags can only hope to claw their way into a possible wild-card. Yall have me curious to where Locker just might go!

I like the Jacob Cutrera comparison..if he stays healthy..he sticks! He will probably have to do an racial apprenticeship program surviving on special teams..but the dude is a legit athlete! At 6'-3 1/2" 238 he RAN a 4.53 at PRO DAY! And in true ESPN-like fashion; sports blogs had him running 4.63...there were some in denial...they werequickly corrected by us!

Pleae check out the post at the bottom..some strong people stepped up for him!!

http://tigerweekly.com/article/03-17-2010/14003

Still last season..he would be the only white defender on the LSU defense...and of the 2 or 3 to negatively single-out of course it would be whitey! "He simply doesn't have the speed to be an SEC LBer" they would say...trying to pigeon-hole him into some 4.7 guy....yet you never heard that about ex LSU LBer Ali Highsmith(was just cut by Cards)...who shocked the dwf's with a pedestrian 4.96 at the Combine!

And dwf's had NO CLUE Cutrera was the leading tackler in the Alabama & Ole Miss games..yet they still wanted to complain! It make my blood boil!

Just to bring the bad news a little late- Blacksonville disposed of Chris McGaha back in early July without ever giving him any fair opportunity. Should we be surprised?

TwentyTwo, don't get your hopes up too much for Matthews to make the Blacksonville roster with Black Del Rio at the helm.

Never mind, I see Don mentioned it. I should read the whole thread more thorougly before posting a repeat of negative information. The negative info is constant enough already with this BS league.

It looks like Brock Bolen made the team, as did Cutrera. Also black offensive guard Forney was cut, so potentially Justin Smiley will be a starter, though he has to beat out a poly for the position, and right now it looks like Considine will be a starter. Of all the heavily black teams I get the feeling that the Jaguars are the most likely to turn a bit whiter, with Garrard not looking like a long term success at QB, and their toleration of a few white defenders, and o linemen at the same time, unlike Bucs and Steelers. Hopefully John Matthews goes to PS.

This is unbelievable!! From Rotoworld:

Following Saturday's release of Gerald Alexander and Reggie Nelson, Sean
Considine is penciled in as the Jaguars' starting free safety.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain">
This has trouble written all over it. Considine is more than willing to
stick his nose into trouble, but gets run over easily and is a
liability on coverage. This Jaguars' secondary is going to be one to
exploit on a weekly basis. Courtney Greene and perhaps corner Tyron
Brackenridge should be pushing Considine shortly.

It looks like Considine will be a starter but Rotoworld is at their anti-white best.

That is a sickening diatribe. What I'd like to know is whether there are other fantasy football news sources than rotoworld. That is where the news comes from in the CF leagues, and while it gives us plenty of ammo to show that the media is anti-White, I get tired of reading their crapola. Since I don't play in other fantasy leagues, I'm just wondering, are there other news sources for player updates?

Yes, of course. Walterfootball is another one that I frequently use. That site is much more white friendly than Rotoworld but at times it can get a bit ridiculous as well.

kffl.com does updates without commentaries, so they'll simply say Considine is a starter etc. rotoworld can't refrain from cheap shots and jabs thus causing even more DWF to call for wbhite players¡ heads when something goes wrong. indoctrination at its best.

another "opinion" from rotoworld:

Jaguars LG Justin Smiley has won the starting job over Vince Manuwai.

Smiley was the favorite all along assuming his shoulder held up. The former Dolphin showed he was healthy with a strong training camp. Manuwai is the team's best run blocker, so we don't like the news for Maurice Jones-Drew.
Source: Vito Stellino on Twitter
Related: Vince Manuwai, Maurice Jones-Drew

so he had a strong camp and yet somehow he is not as good of an option as Manuwai?

The only time Rotoworld actually says something good about a white player is when they are stars such as Clay Matthews or Wes Welker.

John Matthews was signed off the practice squad to replace Dillard who went on IR.
