2010 Basketball World Championships

September 8th quarterfinal games are set:

Serbia vs Spain
Turkey vs Slovenia

I'm looking forward to the Serbia/Spain contest.

All of Europe would be better than a team usa. Or evenAFEW countries in europe with equal population of the afro-homos in the usa, would be better than them. It wouldn't have to be all of europe. If lithuania alone had the same population they would anhiliate usa, imo.


Usa goes for the bestafros and brings them to the nba while they have a double standard for europe, i.e. kasparskambala, etc. etc. So in a sense it's not even a fair representation ofworld players here.

But forget about all of that. As I said, combine lithunia and a few other countries and it's bye bye team jew-sa. Because let's just admit it folks, larry brown is the best **** polisher this side of new york bagel's shop.

I've actually NEVER met a Slav that didn't have blue/green eyes. Where are all of the brown eyed Slav's at?

Yes, the taller specimens often have long limbs, wide shoulders and narrow hips which are suited for basketball and tennis.Goran Ivanisovic (sp) a good example.

If the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes had spent more time shooting buckets instead of each other no telling how many great teams and athletes they could have produced.

Just a few Croatian NBA players off the top of my head.

George Mikan, Rudy Tomjonovich, Drazen Petrovic, Toni Kukoc, Andrew Bogut.

In what I figured would be a close fought game, Argentina defeated Brazil 93-89. Thinking that Brazil would win was my only wrong prediction, although, most of the games (at the start of the knock-out stage) were obvious mismatches!

With Lithuania defeating China in the other game today, that sets-up a Lithuania vs Argentina game. These two countries played each other in the Bronze medal game at the last Olympics, with Argentina taking the Bronze medal.

It should be a good game.
 
Serbia advanced with a 92-89 victory over Spain. Serbia was 15-30 from 3-pt-range.

Home-team Turkey handily defeated Slovenia.

Many slavic people have dark eyes. As for my own family, I seem to be the only one with brown eyes, the rest range from green/hazel to blue.

Whites are made up of different ethnicities.
Nordics are never confused with Southern Europeans (or rarely).
So what was that guys point?
One of the main points here is that the white RACE is incredibly diverse.

But back to basketball, if blacks are so good at it then why does Angola suck?
They have more citizens than countries like Slovenia.
Blacks only win when they are taken from a country (US) that is basically the size of a continent in terms of people.
I am sure that a team made up of Eastern European All-Stars would dominate.
 
Angola was ranked 12th in the world and made it to the World Championships. Sweden was ranked 67th in the world and didn't make it to the World Championahipa. It's all relative.
A team ranked 12th in the world out of 75 basketball playing nations doesn't really "suck."
 
The USA won, btw. Durant looks like best forward in 20 years.
 
Durant is just extremely long and has improved so much since college, kinda scary for opposing teams.
 
I wonder if Durant had a mediocre game does the US even beat a relatively weak and relatively below the rim team like Turkey. The tournament seemed to be there for the US to win once Spain and Argentina were bounced out. One thing about these recent US teams they play a "White style" opposed to a "Black style" which could explain why they have been doing better. Coach K wouldn't take a donkey like a Sprewell on one of these teams.

Now we're winning every single game from qualifiers through elimination on every level.. from U16 through the men's teams. <div>

Seth that sure is a bold second paragraph. I doubt you'll ever witness another blowout as seen in the '92 games. You have to remember that many of the other top countries weren't at full strength either, plus I think the knowledge of the game has spread to the point where most games will be competitive. USA has proven to be the favorite, but they will be the first to tell you nearly every game will be a challenge and they have to show up with their "A" game to win.
