The Air Force Academy has been up and down since '05, starting anywhere from 14 to 21 Whites. They have been on a downward trend since '08. The blackening defense is not good. Some White backups include RB Nathan Walker, QB Connor Dietz, WR Kyle Halderman, OLB Patrick Hennessey, OLB </font>Jordan
Waiwaiole</font>, </font>and CB Ben Cochran.

Offense
RB Jared Tew
WR Kevin Fogler
WR Jonathan Warzeka
RT Tyler Schonsheck
RG Chase Darden
C Michael Hester
LG Jason Konz
LT A.J. Wallerstein

Defense
DE Wylie Wilkstrom

DE Rick Ricketts
LB Brady Amack
LB Ken Lamendola-in a fight for the position

Well, here's Air Force's new starters for the caste matchup of the week against nearly all-black GA. Tech. SS Brian Lindsey may be back for the game, but otherwise all-black at the DB positions.

That's okay. If the network coverage is anything like that when the Navy Midshipmen were playing, we won't even notice any of the white players, as they will simply focus the camera on the affroletic QB Tim Jefferson all game long. You'll think you're watching the New Miss Conformists!

i think "wide receiver" Jonathan Warzeka is a better cornerback than the two affletes that AFA starts at corner. furthermore, i doubt if the two negroescould even make it a contest in a footrace with Warzeka, who sethis school record in high school in the 100 meters (10.68).

but since he's playing on offense, i don't understand why Warzeka's notthe featured guy in the running game for the Falcons, as he possesses game-breaking speed and agility. as it is, on just 40 carries he has a team-best 7.9 yards-per-carry, has scored 4 rushing touchdowns, and has the second-longest run from scrimmage (54 yards) on the team. meanwhile, with the black quarterback doing what black quarterbacks do, Warzeka leads the team inevery singlereceiving category yet only has 17 catches on the season, albeit for 3 touchdowns.

so let'srecap ... he has the second-longest run from scrimmage(54-yard touchdown), the two longest pass receptions (63-yard and 53-yard touchdowns), and the longest return (100-yard touchdown) on the team. but he only has 78 touches for the year. that seems like a HUGE waste of talent, to me.

oh well, what do i know? coaches know best, and they always play the best players.

to help any of you math-challenged guys as to why i'm confused in the above post, the AFA Falcons are allowing their most explosive player to touch the ball a mere 6.5 times-per-game. including kick returns! i mean, damn. that is just stupid.

compare that to the oft-cited maxim of "get the ball in the hands of your playmakers." well, apparently the Air Force Academy doesn't hold to that philosophy ...

on a slightly different topic, it's nice to see Jared Tew playing today against GA Tech. i wonder how effective he will be after missing so much of the season with a broken fibula.

That's swell, Jimmy, but his unbearable paleness make him "unexciting", so his numbers really don't count. By far the bestest, most exciting playmaker on the Falcons squad is Timmy Jefferson, with his ability as QB to boss around all of those white boys and still flash the room-brightening smile. Even if Warzeka is in the game for every snap, and matches his career average, the cameras will still focus on the "leader" and give him the credit. And the sad part is that I'm not really being that over-the-top.

Nice to see Air Force beat Georgia Tech. Jared Tew was the leading rusher for the AFA. As evidenced by what JC pointed out, Air Force isn't as fun to watch as they were circa '06-'07. At least that is my take on it.
