better late than never, man.
on another note, there are several teams playing tonight that have athletic White players who are fun to watch. at 6:00 pm Central time on ESPNU, Florida plays against a cupcake. the Gators have the very athletic wing
Chandler Parsons, who at 6-10 actually leads the team in assists. the versatile Parsons is still very, very raw from a skill standpoint, but he is very smooth and long and has tremendous upside. he is second on the team in rebounding at almost 6 per game, and averages just a decimal point below 10 points-per-game.
they also have 6-10 sophomore
Erik Murphy, who has terrific potential.
meanwhile, also at 6:00 pm Central on ESPN2, Minnesota plays a horde of talented White players from Wisconsin. led by 6-10 senior forward
Jon Leuer, the Badgers routinely start 4 White players.
an All-American candidate, Leuer is a terrific talent, leading the Badgers in scoring (nearly 20 ppg) andrebounding (over 7 rpg), shoots over 50% from the field, 50% from 3-point range, and nearly 80% from the charity stripe, and he also has 26 assists to just 19 turnovers. his best move is a pull-up midrange jumper off the dribble, but he can do nearly anything you ask him to do on the floor. he is incredibly smooth, can handle the ball on the perimeter, and his only real negative is that he's not an elite leaper (although he's a very capable dunker).
for Minnesota, their best player is 6-4 senior guard
Blake Hoffarber. virtually everything good for the Gophers runs through Hoffarber. he is the team's leading scorer and the leading playmaker, as he already has 60 assists this season. heis a dangerous 3-point shooter, has a 3-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, and is a terrific pickpocket, with20 steals on the year.
later on, North Carolina's athletic 7-foot forward
Tyler Zeller takes center stage. finally healthy, Zeller has emerged as the Tarheels' leading scorer. unike many scorers, Zeller is very efficient with his touches (he also leads the team in field goal and free throw percentage). he is also second on the team in rebounds, blocked shots, and steals.
