2009 NCAA Tourney

Bobby Frasor is going to give the MSU guards fits.

And I agree about Tom Izzo, he is a class act, who sees talent in both blacks and whites. I have always enjoyed watching MSU play over the years because of this man. He should be in MSU for several more years. It's good for basketball overall. Edited by: j41181

It's good to see that we will have a good national championship with two respectable programs.

hopefully Suton displays his full array of skills and does not get into foul trouble.

Suton is the key for MSU to have a chance...

It's already over, UNC has it. Both Suton and hansbrough are looking like the players of the game though!

Suton and Hansbrough both stepped it up in the biggest games of their careers. Suton had 17 points and 11 rebounds on 7-10 shooting. Hanbrough had 18 points and 7 rebounds.

I think Suton will be a 2nd round pick. He has quick feet, a soft touch from the outside and knows how to position himself on defense and for rebounds.

Both made the all Final-Four team as well. Good stuff!

This has to be the best NCAA finals I've seen in years. Both teams (UNC and MSU) had very good white players, and both played very well (though Hasnbrough could do better).

Goran Suton (17 points, 11 rebounds) was superb in 'n out, and Hansbrough (18 points, 7 rebounds) was his usual, but I've got to give his teammates a lot of credit. Ty Lawson was brilliant with 8 steals (Finals record), Ellington was sniping, and so was Davis. UNC was just too much for MSU despite Suton's efforts.

Frasor grabbed a crucial rebound, and scored on a breakaway layup (happy graduation), Ty Zeller managed to get 1 point (good luck to him next year). But overall congratulations to North Carolina, for their 5th title, that ties 3rd (with Indiana) for most in NCAA history.

Congratulation to Tyler Hansbrough, he has done what Larry Bird failed to do (win an NCAA title), and what Dirk Nowitzki failed to do at this point (win a title).
Kudos to him for winning the NCAA title.

This finals had a record crowd of 70,000+, and this is definitely one for the history books! The fact that very good white players were involved.
