Dolphin fans tend to gravitate to the White stars. This goes way back to the Larry Czonka days. In the 80s, you'd see Marino, Offerdahl maybe a lone Duper or Clayton jersey.
In the 90s, it was Marino and then Zach Thomas. Zach was THE Dolphin fan favorite from about '98 to about the time they cut him. Perhaps Jason Taylor a 2nd. Fans always liked Taylor as well. They still do. Ricky Williams then became a fan favorite, yet his particularities alienated many fans and also the team. Even the brothas are not all that loyal to him (it is well known that Ricky generally prefers the company of White people).

During the dark days of the post Saban era, Greg Camarillo became the dark horse fan favorite. The team sucked and Ricky Williams was off smoking weed and doing yoga. Zach was mostly injured and Jason Taylor was getting neutralized double teamed all the time and the rest of the team truly sucked. No one on defense was worth a damn and this pissed Taylor off. And the offense was even worse!

Taylor goes to the Blackskins for a year, Thomas is out to pasture in Dallas and Pennington comes in. A solid turn around and now Pennington is the team leader. Although DWFs still have doubts due to his 'noodle arm'. The wild cat is all the rage.
Taylor comes back to round out a solid and very productive career, his brother in law gets cut by KC, Greg Caramillo is back from knee surgery and Brian Hartline is the pre-season WR star.

And Ricky Williams is back and looks to be in solid form.

Although the fans here seemed to have fallen for Hartline. They can't stand the p***Y Ginn.
Dolphin fans have always rooted for their (few) White players and perhaps the true capable black stars.
Sumos, black weaklings and thugs are really not popular here.
This may be surprising to many given the enormous multiculti garbage that resides in S. FL but it is true. The backbone of the Dolphins fan base has always been their Anglo working class fans, along with the black disliking Cuban population.

Things are so far gone here, that White fans have some unconscious connection to the (few) White players and perhaps those that give true effort and dedication.

Loud mouth gifted black (fake) affletes may be coach favorites, but the fans can't stand them.

This is the Dolphins in a nutshell.

It's being reported that Chad Pennington is out for the season with a shoulder injury suffered during yesterday's game. He doesn't get mentioned much here but Chad's an excellent quarterback and a class act in every way, an outstanding role model. He's come back from injury twice before to be the league's Comeback Player of the Year so hopefully he'll do it again. And he went from being dumped by the Jets last year to make way for Brett Favre to leading a 1-15 Dolphins team to the playoffs in 2008.

Chad Henne takes over. Would like to see him do well so that we don't have to deal with an onslaught of media manlove for Pat White and the "wildcat."

Pennington has the highest completion percentage of all time. If he wasn't so injury prone he would be even better.Edited by: whiteathlete33

[/QUOTE I agree Cubans who are largely white have had bad relations with blacks within Dade county since they have become the majority in Miami .

Former first round draft pick Ted Ginn remains a bust this season. Just saw this telling stat on Rotoworld on this "electrifying" player: Coach Tony Sparano said Ted Ginn's low snap count last week was due to the "big" formation the Dolphins ran for most of the game. Just two days earlier, Sparano said Ginn wasn't on the field very much because of a planned rotation at wide receiver. Either way, it's clear Ginn is not viewed as a No. 1 receiver in Miami. Ginn has just six yards after the catch this season on his 14 catches. That's an embarrassing number for a guy who's expected to be a big-play receiver.

And, he has hands of stone, especially on important plays. What a turd.

Weren't the girls in the booths attributing Camarillo's good play (in a few games) last year to the fact that blazing fast aff-a-lete Ginn was out with an injury? There alway has to be some mitigating factor when a white player succeeds.

J. D. Folsom was signed off of the practice squad and will be active tomorrow against the Patriots. He was added to the roster at the expense of another black player a William Kershaw. I hope this kid makes an impact and has a long NFL career. When the head coach was asked was was Folsom's best asset Sparano replied" he has alot of speed that's something you don't have to teach." Good luck tomorrow J. D. give em hell and represent us proudly. Edited by: White Power

Willy Kershaw is a prime example of the caste system. Here is a linebacker (undrafted) who just "oozes with athleticism and potential", when in fact, he never was very good. With the Chiefs, Herm "black is better" Edwards did everything to help him out, even clearing out better white players (Boomer Grigsby) so that "slow Willie" would have a chance. Kudos to the Dolphins for getting rid of this turd and replacing him with a quality player.

The Dolphins sign another white defensive lineman off of there practice squad one Ryan baker 6ft 5 295lbs. This gives them 22 white or others on the roster. This team continues to get whiter under Sparano. Also read on the chat board that some of this teams fans want Sparano to draft Toby Gerhart which is another good sign after the abysmal failure under the prick Nick Saban.

Kory Sperry?? I know he has a Hawaiian middle name and looks somewhat mixed in online pics, but did you see him on the sideline during Sunday's game?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kory_Sperry

From what I recall, he had dirty blonde hair and his skin looked quite fair, especially compared to online pics. Partly because Pat White got KTFO, the kept showing the sideline and I kept thinking "who's this White dude named Sperry?" His face looked way more Caucasoid compared to his (face pic) on his Colorado State Rams profile, which Wikipedia provides a link to.

I remember watching him at CSU and he received good praise from the announcers, but he ended-up going undrafted. That doesn't mean that he's pure Caucasoid, but he looked damn White on the Miami sideline.

Miami
Dolphins cornerback Will Allen has been arrested and charged with
driving under the influence in Miami Beach.

Jail records show
Allen was arrested Saturday and was being held at the Pretrial Detention
Center in Miami on $1,000 bond.

A spokesman for the Dolphins
declined comment, saying the team only recently learned about the
incident.

Messages left with the Miami Beach Police Department
were not immediately returned. The records did not indicate whether he
has an attorney.

Allen is a nine-year NFL veteran. He missed the
final 10 games last season because of a knee injury that required
surgery.

The New York Giants drafted Allen in the first round and
he played five seasons there before being signed by the Dolphins.

When Dolphins DT Tony McDaniel was arrested recently for domestic battery, the article proudly noted that he was the first (black) Dolphin in arrested in eight whole months, like it was a wonderful achievement. Didn't take long for Will Allen to join the club.

from rotoworld:

Dolphins coach Tony Sparano raved about Richie Incognito's "fast-twitch" power.

The Dolphins' offensive line is known for its power, a trait that Incognito will have no problem fitting in with. "He's knocking people down with his hands," said Sparano. Miami figures to have one of the top offensive lines in the league once again this season.
