Here are the projected starters for the Yellow Jackets this year. Only 6 white staters this year for the Ramblin' Wreck. Believe it or not, this is actually an increase from last year.

They started 5 last year, 8 in 07, 7 in 06, and 6 in 05. Georgia Tech must think 5-8 white starters is enough.

LT Brad Sellers is getting a fight for his position, so is H-Back Lucas Cox.

Yes he is, Dixie, but he's no worse than Mark Richt. Georgia will only start 5 whites this year. Pathetic!
 
Correct you are (unfortunately)...six on offense for UGA (counting PK Blair Walsh). It's disheartening to the see the Dawgs coal-black on defense. The irony is that UGA all-time greatest defensive players (David Pollack, Terry Hoage, Knox Culpepper, Jimmy Payne & George Patton were White

So I'm guessing the "Joke by Coke" is supposed to be interpreted as Georgia Tech being the "joke" and its location is by "coke" meaning the Coca-Cola Headquarters. Come on help a yankee out...lol

ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Tech backup quarterback Jaybo Shaw (White) will
miss at least the start of the season after breaking a collarbone
during Saturday's scrimmage.</div>

Head coach Paul Johnson said Shaw is expected to miss six to
eight weeks. Johnson said it was too early to speculate on the
possibility that Shaw could miss the season as a redshirt after playing
as a true freshman in 2008.

Shaw was expected to again play
behind starter Josh Nesbitt (black) after seeing substantial playing time,
including one start, last season. Shaw was 9-of-14 passing for 230
yards while starting in a 27-0 win over Duke. He also played most of
the game in a 38-7 win over Mississippi State.

"It's really unfortunate," Johnson said of the injury. "Jaybo was playing really well and was having a good camp."

Shaw
made a quick adjustment to Johnson's spread option offense after
playing in a similar formation at Flowery Branch (Ga.) High School near
Atlanta.

He had a touchdown run early in the scrimmage and then was injured when a teammate fell on him after a routine pass completion.

Sophomore
Tevin Washington (black) is expected to move up as Nesbitt's top backup.
Freshmen David Sims (black) and Jordan Luallen (White), who has missed a week with an

You got it WCB! Also known as "Georgia Tick", "The Fleas", "YellaJack@$$es", etc. To their credit, they do produce an outstanding White player (Keith Brooking, etc.) every now & then, but it's mostly ******** like Calvin Johnson, etc.

GT's basketball program has also been pretty hardcore caste during the Paul Hewitt era. Bobby Cremmins wasn't too much better, but did have Mark Price, Scott Pettway & a few other good White players.Edited by: DixieDestroyer

Tech will have to really good white skill players next year between Cooper Taylor and Lucas Cox, as for the rest of the team..... Hard to say
