Owen Schmitt didn't get any of the three (or was it four) goal line carries... Slaton got 3 tds to his name already...

is Gerhart even playing for Stanford?

Schmitt's treatment doesn't surprise me, even though his coach raved about him on ESPN the other day. Gerhart is on the Stanford team, but has apparently been forgotten after being their second leading rusher last year.

Also, Brandon Hancock chose to stop playing rather then risking further injury despite being granted an additional year of eligibility by the NCAA.

This is getting me POed. After Kevin Harris lead Wake Forest in yards per carry last year, filling in nicely for the overrated and injured Micah Andrews I thought he would get the starting nod this year. Andrews is banged up again and they are limiting his carries, but it is the same old BS, Wake has put in a red shirt black freshman Josh Adams. Kevin Harris looked superb in his short chance last season.

Kyle Bell started well, scoring a TD in first quarter! so far: 11-50, 1 TD.

update: it seems he's injured since he didn't participate in Colorado last two drives

in three games, Danny has carried the ball 71 times for 546 yards and 9 touchdowns. that's 182 yards per game, and 7.7 yards per carry.

he had 4 catches for 99 yards last week, as well. so he is a complete all-around back.

DraftDaddy called out the head coach of Northern Colorado, a Division 1AA team by the way, for his "disparaging comments" about Danny in a New York Times article a few weeks back. why? because Northern Colorado head coach Scott Downing was the recruiting coordinator for Nebraska when they completely snubbed Woodhead.

good for DraftDaddy to call him out for his blatantly racist recruiting practices, and good for Danny for whipping his ass on the field.

The UGA Dawgs need to leverage the power, explosiveness and speed of Sutherland much more. The guy is a TD machine who's grossly under-utilized IMHO.Edited by: DixieDestroyer
