Maybe Leonard will see some carries tonight with the Rams out of the playoffs.

On second thought, that would detract from their main goal. Pleasing Steven Jackson.

Not to mention they want to develop those running backs of the future they have with all that potential.

I hope Linehan and Haslet are fired after the season. They've achieved the Caste hat trick of misusing and/or under-utilizing Drew Bennett, Brian Leonard, and Adam Carriker. Better to have an all-black team than to draft or sign and then waste the talents of some of the few white players "allowed" to play in the NFL. With any luck Haslet will be out of the league for good. Every time they show his ugly mug during a broadcastI feel like hissing.

"With any luck Haslet will be out of the league for good. Every time they show his ugly mug during a broadcast I feel like hissing."

It's pretty ironic that the moment Haslet left the Saints in shambles and a perrennial league joke (with 21 black starters, no less), and Sean Payton took over (who brought in about 8-9-10 white starters) they were instantly contenders.

Guys like Jimmie Johnson, Jim Haslet and Jack Del Rio DEFINE caste football coaches. I'm sure some loser NFL team will be enamored with Haslet's "track record" and hire him as a D-coordinator next season. That is, if the Rams don't hand him the head coaching spot (from what I've heard, that's not likely).

Brian Leonard runs just as hard as Jackson, and obviously, is a way better receiver. Why in the hell wouldnt the Rams use them together? Oh wait, I already know. In all seriousness, Leonard should get about 10-12 carries a game and get a couple designed screen plays and short passes as well.

i watched the game and i nearly felt like crying

the talents of leonard are slowly being eroded in his rookie year people will end up forgetting what this guy can do eith a football in his hand and will become just another great white player molded into what the caste NFL wants him to be a FULLBACK Leonard is too good a runingback to be a fullback and not big enough to be a fullback and because of this the guy is seen as no good

yeah he will waste away his best years blocking and getting his neck f**ked up... 5 years down the line all the real RBS of his team will go down and people will be surprised to see this guy go over 10o yards rushing couple of times before he's yanked back to playing his "real" position, fullback.

Brian is wasting his time. The more time he spends at fullback the less people will remember what the man can do with the ball in his hand. What the Rams are doing to him is criminal, especially at his size, making him smash head first into people 70 pounds heavier than him.

Just ridiculous; With the Bears playoffs chances over and their team clearly manhandling the Packers in the 4th quarter by more than 21 points you would think Lovie could be reasonable and insert Hass (the maligned Biletnikoff award winner)into the game for a series or two. Hass clearly could have seen some "scrub work" late in the game which would have proved he is far from a scrub and would have opened the fans eyes.

Edited to Add: Lovie clearly doesn't want to see happen however, and Lovie Smith is proving to aware people like us that he is a racist. Mike Hass is another "team manager" to him, just like Forsey was, and Hass I predict will no longer be with the Bears next year! Hopefully he'll go to a team that will use him at least as much as David Anderson or a Jereme Urban get played! F You Lovie!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins
