Bummer he ran so much slower in the finals. Whoever organized the camera work was awful. You couldn't really see how the runners were doing during the race with the head on view. He didn't look injured so I'm guessing he just ran slow due to it being his second race of the day.

the Jamaicans have a long history with steroid use. To be fair a ton of guys are using but Thompson is a rather obvious example. Gatlin is one of the most cooked cases in history. Runs really fast, gets busted and banned for a couple years. Comes back even faster but is now clean…..lol

Yeah I can’t imagine there’s much money in running professionally if you’re a 10.2 guy. Unfortunately Hale never really blossomed as we had hoped, but that’s ok that’s how sprinting works. Will have to wait and see how Hilton does going forward, but 10.3’s aren’t going to get it done...

Yeah I agree. Browning is a very good high level sprinter. I hope there is something that he can find with training or form or anything to at least get one sub 10. Being so close has to eat a sprinter up.

For me this is not horrible. I think it shows consistency that he is pretty much always below 10.1 now. He has more work to do to get down to consistent sub 10’s but he will get there. Although he won, Thompson was also a tenth slower than what he ran just a few days ago so all in all I think...

It’s unfortunate, but maybe Browning is just a 10.0x guy. That’s still faster than almost any human that’s ever lived so it’s not taking anything away from him. He just doesn’t seem to be able to find that next level. Once again, I hope I’m wrong but that may just be the case.
