I'd like to see Hillis in another uniform next year. I can't see him getting the carries he deserves with the Browns. But then again, I'm not sure most other teams would allow him to be the feature back, either. I'll just hope for the best.

Mike Tomlin will never lead the Steelers back to the Super Bowl with most of Cowher's players gone after this season. To be fair, Tomlin shows more aptitude for the position than most of the token blacks picked in the past decade or so, but he will fail on his own with his players in the coming...

I can't believe Leyland is serious about playing Cabrera at 3B every day. He hasn't played there regularly since '07. I think after a failed effort to play him there in April, the Tigers will use him most of the time at 1B, with Fielder getting a start here and there when he's not the DH.

Tiger is making his season debut this week. I'm pulling for him to repeatedly fail again this year. At 36, hopefully he will be out of the game soon with another injury or two.

I doubt Hillis will get the chance to carry the ball enough for another 1000+ yard season, so I'm hoping that Gerhart gets the chance to do so next year.

Griffin will not be a good NFL QB, not even close. The decision-making, the accuracy, the arm strength on certain passes etc. are not there. But he will be given many years to keep proving it as the powers-that-be desperately struggle to find another black QB or two.

Leonard had a 100-yard game as a rookie. He'll be lucky if he gets another 100 yards rushing to add to the 540 he has for his career before he's forced out of the NFL.

I generally don't give a hoot about the Pro Bowl but for Newton to get picked as a replacement before Stafford is a freakin' joke.

It was a lot of fun watching J.J. Watt and the other white standouts for the Texans on "D" this year. Let's hope for even better next year.
