Well at least Peyton got the support of guys like Marshall, that should help a little. It's also a good occasion of loosing weight and impress the new head coach with his RB skill right from the start of mini-camp
You're right dude, it's the year of the LB for us, add to the list clay matthews, maybe Joe Pawalek, Zac Follett, Scott McKillop, some good 3-4 prospect like Stryker Sulak, Connor Barwin, this will be a good group.
I gotta disagree TJR, he can't really afford to run upright because it will limit his effectiveness, runnning with a more compact style help you going through traffic and help breaking arm-tackles, you take less big shot because most of the time the tackler hits the shoulder pad, not the ribs...
I can't imagine being a panthers hockey player right now. They were playing at home against my habs and it was just like at the Bell Centre. First time they sellout all year and a big majority of the tickets were sold to Quebeckers on vacation. Fans were booing the panthers when they scored and...
Yeah, just being there to break up the pass was a good play. As a DB I hate how people point out a dropped INT as a bad play, it's like a batted down pass with 2 hands lol.
Also, it was stated that Kolb didn't see a single first-team snap the week before the Ravens game. He was basically thrown to the wolf with no resources whatsoever.
I was pretty impressed by the FB Jack Cochran also, he got great hands and showed nice athletism on some of his catches, including a very nice one handed catch.
Jourdan Brooks is a terrible power-back, a guy his size should get the tough yard WAY more consistently. Kordell Young is nothing...
He should be the clear-cut starter next year. He got a shot at a 1,000 yard and that will get him a combine invite. Then he will show his low 4.4 speed and get drafted in the 3rd-4th range, unless he is mesured at under 5'10, in that case he'll be an afterthought.
No there is not, when you a player is placed on the IR it's for the entire football year. The only way he can come off the IR is to waive him, and that won't happen.
Of course they could go get a RB in the draft, but until then he is their best RB.
I don't care about the historic of a program, it's all about the coach in place, and Bo Pelini was at LSU when they had Hester as their feature back, plus last-year starter Marlon Lucky is graduating, he could get a shot at playing time as a freshman, good luck Rex!
Don't forget Ryan Tanhill at QB, even though he had a standout freshman season as a WR, didn't he said somewhere that he didn't give up on being TAMU's QB somday?
I'm 1/16 indian and I'll never ever consider myself to be an indian, that's just dumb. You can't even see the difference, just a very slight difference in skin tone.
Young a humble guy
"Football is football," the 2006 NFL offensive rookie of the year said, according the The Tennessean. "I am very talented, and everybody knows what kind of athlete I am. Now I just need to get smarter with the game and get ready to use my God-given talent."
I hate that...
"I wouldn't say that the Division I guys missed out on him," Kehres said. "There are certain physical parameters on height, weight and speed that they adhere to, and he came up short on them. What I like to do is look at videotape and look for someone who is just a good, complete football...
