Tortu has great form, but he is still growing, they said he grew over 1 inch in height this past year alone. His potential may be as special, maybe even more so than Lemaitre.

He may be afraid to hit the curve too fast since he is tall with long legs and may loose balance causing him to get out his lane and DQ'ing, thats one thought on it, but he still have that great closing speed

that was probably not accurate but the sub 10.10 and 20.10 is accurate and a very good sign for Ramil this coming year. My guys this year is Ramil and the young Filippo Tortu, Lemaitre I can only hope.

I think we should all forget about Lemaitre, he wont match or get close to his bests of the past, it is what it is....He got his Olympic medal, he is happy, I am happy for him...but he is just a consistent 6.6, 10.1, 20.1 sprinter which is still good....I think its time we start to look to at...

Great time for the 18 year old first race.

Tortu is the only Italian that is consistent with his times and he is only 18...the others would run 6.5, then a year later they cant break 6.7, or run a 10.1 then again a year later running 10.3-10.4....Tortu will be the next Lemaitre imo.

If Martina runs a 19.80, Lemaitre runs a 19.6....no way is Martina a better sprinter than Lemaitre, especially at the 200

The weight should not be an issue as long as it is muscle and his strenght-to-bodyweight ratio is higher than when he was at a lighter weight. I am curious of his lifts.
