Alexander was exposed as the one dimensional fighter that he is as the Brazillian pounded him out. Bisping could have won the fight if he had pushed the pace. Evans could hardly breath from half way through the second round until the end. Evans gets the split, big whoop.

Despite his two UFC wins I don't think Alexander is a very good fighter. He is a big 205'er to be sure but I think he is one dimensional. Like White Shogun I will be curious to see what happens if Silva can get this thing to the ground.

I think that young white athletes today are not as intimidated by the "black supermen" as they were say 15 or 20 years ago when the takeover began in earnest. I see our guys playing tougher on every level. Perhaps, and this is just a theory, after having been exposed to the black athlete...

The race/ culture distinction is bogus. A culture can't exist apart from the people who created it. All in all a good article by Whitlock even if he did hold back a little by not granting whites equal athletic status and chalking up our inevitable comeback to purely behavioral issues.
