    Tim Russert

Man, he was only 58. No one is guaranteed another day. Not trying to be crass but I say he is replaced on MTP with a woman or a non-white.Edited by: Poacher

    Ostrava Meet on Thursday!

31.72(1st) for JW in the 300m. Not sure how to project that to 400m. American record is Johnson's 30.85 if that is any indicator.

    U.S. Open

That time of year again. ESPN was wall to wall you-know-who yesterday. His highness is tied for 17th. The move has been made, the messiah is now one shot off the lead. Last seen walking over a water hazard.Edited by: Poacher

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

Not sure how much it means but Merritt just took a dump in Pre-classic running a 44.65 (which was good enough for 1st place).

Lynch a possible suspect in Hit and Run

I should've known. The article was deeply insulting. Offending people comes as naturally to blacks as breathing.

Lynch a possible suspect in Hit and Run

Decent people don't commit hit and runs. That article was unbelievable. When I got to the "hallelujah!" part my jaw dropped, I coldn't believe what I was reading. Of course it just got worse from there.

    French Open

Not looking good for Fed. He can't hit a back hand to save his life. It doesn't help that Nadal doesn't seem to make any mistakes. Fed is doing good just to hold his serve. 6-1, 6-3, 6-0(!) What a drubbing. Nadal is only 22. If he stumps Fed at Wimbledon what then? Edited by: Poacher

    Big Brown Triple Crown?

Well so much for that. Brown busted out. I have no idea what happened. His trainer guaranteed a win shortly before the race and Brown finished dead last. How embarassing. Let the speculation begin.

    Big Brown Triple Crown?

Brown's closest rival, Casino Drive, has been scratched from the race. It's all but over now.

    Big Brown Triple Crown?

Think he can do it? Care? I wanna see him win it but his loud mouth trainer makes it hard to root for him. It's been 30 years now since Affirmed. Some people have been comparing Brown to Secretariat. PFFT. Big Brown: Derby (2:01.82), Preakness (1:54.80) Big Red: Derby (1:59.24)...

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

43.98...that's more like it. I'm still getting the impression that he is slower than last year though. 43.98 won't win the trials.

Coming Financial Crisis Worse Than ’29?

Hasn't been able to work? He's been in show business for decades, what in God's name did he do with all of his money?

I was wondering how old cantaloupe shoulders was doing. I'll bet he's close to three bills.

Looking forward to seeing Kampman back in action. Hughes too for that matter.

    Another one...Pettigrew

Fair enough. But Sullivan was a decorated swimmer before the suit and is 22 (prime for a swimmer). As far as Bolt is concerned he did run a 9.76 on May 3rd. Which makes his 9.72 slightly less shocking but I still believe he is using. Pettigrew just returned his ill-gotten gold medal.

    French Open

Nadal and Djokovic in one semi. What a match that should be. Federer and Monfils (wtf?) in the other. Federer and nadal again. Hopefully Fed gets it done this year.Edited by: Poacher

    Another one...Pettigrew

Many swimming records have been broken lately due to Speedo's new LZR racer swimsuit. Was Bolt wearing some new high-tech spikes that we don't know about? Yes, I suppose that it is possible that Bolt improved this much on his own, I won't completely discount the idea but jesus man how...

I'd sign him. When he called out the Colts for not having any heart he was right.

Wariner is back and may threaten 43.19!

That stinks for Wariner. I doubt he pulls out of the rest of the meets though. 44.03 is almost a PB for Merritt, he may be peaking too soon.

    Another one...Pettigrew

Bolt has come out of nowhere to run a 9.72. How many years before we find out he is/ was cheating? What's next, an 8.75? F'n joke.Edited by: Poacher

    Danica Patrick Wins Japan 300

If women can be in the Marines then they can be hit. You can't have it both ways. If I were faced with a situation where I might have to hit a woman I think I would try to restrain/ submit her first.
