From what I saw of the Jets-Patriots game, Wes Welker is the second most important player on the Patriots after Tom Brady. Without Welker, Brady had nobody open for most of the second half and especially late in the game when they had several drives come up short.
Of course, the announcers...
This guy sounds like the type of guy that gives all of us a bad name. He's not a kid either. He should know better.
Unless the video shows a vastly different scene than the one being reported, it's over for this guy and I can't say that I have much sympathy for him either.
The most anti-white movie i'm aware of right now is 'Obsessed'. It's a takeoff of the movie 'Fatal Attraction' but it's a white woman who is obsessed with a black married man. One bright spot was that it had mediocre success at the box office.
If you guys want to watch a great show where the...
Sportscenter is particularly revolting today. An ESPN(no surprise here) reporter is reporting how split the Vikings are on Brett Farve. There is an eight minute segment glorifying Michael Vick and their breakdown of top college QB's has no mention of Tim Tebow. The one reporter even made a...
It's hard to believe this, but I saw SI's fantasy football issue on the newstand and on the cover was Jason Campbell. I can't think of a more inappropriate choice for the cover.
How desperate is SI to make a black QB seem relevant?Edited by: GWTJ
The only ESPN analyst I have ever enjoyed listening to, and still enjoy listening to, is Harold Reynolds. For some reason, I find him really easy to listen to. No complaints. Everyone else is a waste of time and most actually tick me off if I give them more than a couple minutes.
The one...
The last few holes were great theater. Y.E. Yang was the better of the two Asian golfers yesterday. I thought Yang choked a little on the 17th hole but Woods couldn't take advantage because he himself, except for the first round, was playing average golf. Woods also seemed to be getting worse as...
Sportscenters recap of the Denver-San Francisco game showed all three of Moreno's carries and nobody elses. The announcers bragging about him the whole time. And of course they showed all of Orton's interceptions.
It is obvious to me that ESPN has a pact with the NFL as to who to show on...
When I was a kid and bought baseball and football cards, each pack came with a stick of gum. It wasn't the best gum in the world. It had this nasty white powder all over it but what the heck. Well, when baseball card trading became big business the card companies got rid of the gum so card...
I don't blame Officer Crowley for accepting the President's invitation to the Whitehouse. It's easy for us on this site to say he shouldn't go, but when you really are invited it's tough to make a stand and say no.
Also, even if he initially thought about not attending, he probably felt...
I had a conversation with my friend yesterday about Matt Jones. I have mentioned my conversations with him before here but it's been awhile since I have talked with him about the racial dynamics of the NFL. The conversation usually leaves us both annoyed as he refuses to believe that any white...
Golf seemed to do just fine this weekend without the chosen one. In fact, it was better. I hope the tv ratings are huge as well.
Congrats to Tom Watson for showing that he still has that fire in his belly. One of the toughest things competitors have to deal with is the slow waning of...
I think Mauer will need bigger power numbers to be considered a better hitting catcher than Mike Piazza. Piazza's numbers are staggering for a catcher. A .308 lifetime BA. 427 HR's. I guess time will tell but Mauer certainly has the best shot of all the active catchers.
Here's a very interesting article from the dailymail in England. It does not praise Jackson or hype him. In fact, it shows what a tragic person he became at the end. So reminiscent of Elvis it's scary.
England's take on JacksonEdited by: GWTJ
I don't think we should get on his case too much. The music industry is full of whack jobs. He also had a skin disorder called Vitiligo. Here is a description of it:
Dermatologists said vitiligo (pronounced vit-ill-EYE-go) can cause a person to lose pigment in patches or all over the body...
Agreed. Woods not reaching 18 Majors will at least allow Nicklaus fans to speak on the subject. I feel the urge to walk into a bar when Woods is playing a Major and say to no one in particular, "Woods will never be as good as Jack was", and see how fast the DWF's gang up on me.
Does Woods actually have to break Nicklaus's record to be considered the greatest golfer ever? It feels like he was given that distinction years ago by the media gods. Their relentless pounding of his superhuman abilities hammers us all senseless on a daily basis.
I forsee Nicklaus's...
I don't believe for one second that Harper hit the ball 570 feet. SI gets the facts wrong all the time.
According to the article, Harper's H.S. coach had measured it after it cleared fences and roads. No doubt it bounced on the pavement to finally roll to a stop where it did. Mantle in his...
Kendra, the semi-retarded playboy slut has her own tv show now. Simply called Kendra. The producers probably named it that so she could remember it. I would hope she is acting because she comes off as a total moron.
After having a stripper pole installed in her living room, she invites a...
The final didn't have a lot of drama but watching Federer get his career grand slam and tie Sampras for career grand slam titles made watching this match 'indescribably delicious' and it ranks as one of my all time favorite tennis matches.
This trade may make the Pirates less white but it's a great trade for McLouth and white players in general. Look how well Jason Bay is doing in Boston. McLouth will be another white All-Star player on a team that gets a lot of national exposure.
