Thanks ThePhilosopher, I really enjoyed your posts as well. :) It was an awesome World Cup, and as frederic said, it was great being able to follow it here on Castefootball. I'm so glad the posters here took such interest in the World Cup; these two huge threads were great!!
I'll certainly be...
Me neither, and and neither did the left wing wackos who are trying to push this diversity crap. They must've crapped their pants watching Germany demolish their favorite team in Brazil. To make matters even worse for them, Klose broke Ronaldo's goal-scoring record as well, against...
I completely agree. Everybody knows the players who were key to winning the World Cup: the white German players. All the non-whites were at the back of the celebration; the Germans finished the game with 10 whites on the field as well. Hell, the picture ESPN had up, the three German players on...
Germany wins the World Cup!! Congratulations to the Germans and their nearly all-white squad on such a great achievement!! What a way to go out for Miroslav Klose!! He finally got his World Cup!
0-0 at the half! Higuain missed a sitter for Argentina, and Howedes missed an easy header on the other end. It will be interesting to see how this 2nd half pans out!
That is what's pissed me off about the lineup as well. Maybe he has compromising photos of Loew? Also, he probably didn't want to drop him now because his metrosexual twin Khedira (and maybe Boateng) wouldn't take too kindly to that, and might not give maximum effort...
Germany with the same lineup from the last two games; Neuer, Lahm, Hummels, Boateng, Howedes, Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Mueller, Kroos, Ozil, and Klose.
It's great to see Klose start in his 2nd Final match, 12 years after starting his first.
What a great end to the tournament for us! Brazil loses it's last two games by a combined 10-1!!!
Endsieg, I think he brought Vorm on because he was the only Dutch player that hadn't played yet... nice gesture by Van Gaal.
Bronze for the Netherlands!
I think RVP does have some grey in his hair as well haha.
I agree, it'll be very interesting to see what the future holds for the Western Euro teams. Based on their U21 team I saw the last lineup for, we can expect more non-whites being funneled into the Dutch team again. I think 6-7 or so...
To say Holland's black players are a weak link is an understatement. De Guzman, Wijnaldum, and of course Martins Indi have been the downright bad so far today.
I hope not!! His highlights of the World Cup so far: getting subbed off early (which as a CB can't look too good), getting knocked out by Tim Cahill, and injuring Wesley Sneijder.
Never mind, the Dutch now have 8 starters. Wesley Sneijder was injured by that useless oaf Martins Indi in pregame warm ups, and will be coming off the bench instead.
Thankfully, the Dutch aren't doing this, going with their "A" team, with 9 white starters, Martins Indi and Wijnaldum the only two black starters. Jordy Clasie starts for Nigel De Jong!!
I found this combined XI from the two finalists ESPN today. They let the fans vote for a player at each position, thus getting the best XI between the two of them. There are six Germans and 5 Argentinians, with all three of Germany's non-whites not making it into the team. :smile...
I should be able to help out this year again as well, after the World Cup is finished and work hopefully slows down next week. I won't be able to do as many as the last few years, but I'll certainly do a few previews.
Great posts on Klose, Thrashen and foobar!! He's one of the game's great players, and I don't have much to add to your posts. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to have been able to watch him excel in three of his World Cups. He's one of my favorite players in any sport, and is a very humble and...
First, great posts yet again, Thrashen!
Some in the media might say Boateng, but everybody else (especially the German fans themselves) knows that Hummels is bar none the best defender the Germans have. The media here in the USA haven't mentioned much anything about Boateng (to my knowledge)...
I saw that as well after posting it, and I immediately thought it was supposed to be "funny", but that doesn't stop the DWFs from actually thinking that if their favorite NFL or NBA "supermen" simply played soccer, the USA would win everything. I believe ESPN actually talks about this...
