Madison Bumgarner named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year!
Congratulations Madison on an outstanding season. Looking forward to watching you the rest of your career!
Big thumbs up to Jordan Spieth! After being interviewed for his most recent win, The Hero World Challenge, the interviewer told Spieth happy holidays, to which Spieth replied, have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Thank you Jordan Spieth for not caving in to the agenda!
Spieth wins by 10 strokes. Spieth also won The Australian Open. Looks like an exciting year coming up in 2015, with young guys like Spieth playing well, McIlroy, and Patrick Reed just to name a few.
Speith now at -26 and a 12 shot lead over Stenson, Bradley, and Reed, -14. Speith putting on a clinic. Hopefully, a sign of things to come for Jordan this season and the rest of his career.
Tiger will finish in last place.
Jordan Speith leads after the first round of the Hero World Challenge at -6. A great start for Speith. Looking forward to seeing him win a Major this year.
BTW, Tiger Woods shot a 77 and is in last place.
Kevin Love had only 11 points tonight against the Knicks on 4-11 shooting. He's had some good nights lately, but it's obvious Love is going to have to make the most of his opportunities every night to get 20 points much less average 26 points as he did last season. It's sad to see. It's almost...
Has to be one of the worst cases ever in Mike Tyson! There are confirmed reports that after winning the HWT Championship he returned to robbing elderly ladies.
His former trainer Teddy Atlas knew how to deal with the likes of Tyson. I believe Tyson was trying to mess with Atlas's sister and...
Here, here Jack! I haven't be able to read all the CB posts, but I do read them. You do a lot for this thread, (Freethinker, NBA), as I have tried to post on the NBA thread, but lately I've been really busy with work and family, but I always read as many threads as I can on CF.
Keep posting...
Kevin Love 20/7 at halftime! He has brought his season FG% to .439, almost to his career average of .451, thus he's scoring more of late. Hopefully he continues to shoot better. He's 7/9 at halftime!
I believe God is more concerned about your salvation rather than race mixing. If I wasn't a believer, I would ask God to forgive my sins and trust in Jesus as my Lord and Savior first, then you might understand what he, (God) is like or wants for your life. I personally don't agree with race...
I think the point is simple. However, I'll try again. If you haven't seen every down Cromwell played in the NFL, how can you say he never played CB?
It's not that big a deal for me. I was just trying to help Westside remember a great white DB whom I remember watching when I was young man...
I don't claim to know everything about every football player that ever lived or, have seen every down that every NFL player has ever played, but Cromwell was listed as a CB on some Ram rosters early in his NFL career!
Westside, my story is similar to yours. I as most here know was a Dallas fan in the 70's where Tom Landry played a lot of white players, including white DB's Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters as well as a few white RB's such as, Walt Garrison. I did not like the Redskins, but wanted to see Riggins...
last night's top performances....
Anderson, NO. 22/4
Illyasova, MIL. 20 pts./20 mins.
Pachulia, MIL. 14/13
Kanter, UT. 16/15
Hayward, UT. 13/4, I guess Hayward doesn't want to be a star yet? Maybe a Dunleavy type in the making?
Adams, OKC. 11/8/ 2 blks.
I think we had this discussion on what is considered white and what is not on one of the threads about about a year ago.
I try and give reports on the performances of the guys in the NBA as deemed in the opening post of this thread. If someone wants Fournier's stats posted then do it.
I'm all...
Neither do I. If you look on the team roster page, he's as dark or darker than Aaron Gordon, who is black.
The only 2 obviously white players are Ridnour and Vucevic. I consider 2 of only 15 players white, or 87%, to be coal black team. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe coal black means 100% black...
There's not 1 black QB in the top 12 in any meaningful QB stat with the exception of INT's, where Newton and Geno Smith are tied for 4th with 10 INT's each!
Most of the black QB's are languishing around 16th or below in almost every stat.
Tonight's early top performances.....
Vucevic, OR. 25/14, continuing to be a beast for coal black Orlando.
Dragic, PHX. 22/6/7 assists
Bogdanovic, BRK. 22 pts.
Parsons, DAL. 17/9/6
Nowitzki, only 13 points in limited action.
Mozgov, DEN. 14/11
.....and finally Kevin Love...
Early game top performances......
Gordon Hayward, UT. 33/6/4 stls., now avg. a career high 19.9pts/game. Could this be the year when Hayward becomes a star?
Olynyk, BOS. 21/6
Vucevic, OR. 18/9/4
Anderson, NOP. 16/6 in 22 minutes
Korver, ATL. 12/6/7 asst.
Love, CLE. 12/15/4...
