I am glad that he at least got a shot in the CFL. Eric Crouch didn't, he was like the 3rd stringer. Justin Beaver didn't get a real shot in the CFL either, when he could have easily had a successful career in the NFL.
Jordan Lynch looked great in his win against Ball St, looked like a Heisman performance. 345 yards passing 2 tds, 123 yards rushing 2 tds, and it was tied in the 3rd quarter and they wound up winning 48-27.
Zwinak has 75 yards on 12 carries with 2 tds. He got all the carries on the last series...
Patience, career high of receptions and yards for Fleener right now. 8 receptions 100+ yards, 10 targets, leading the team.
Richardson is terrible, but all it will take is one good performance for fans to be oohing and ahhing. Like Mark Ingram having his 1st 100 yard game in his career last...
didn't know the Poz was questionable for this week
Advice: Posluszny went down late in the win over the Titans. His inability to get cleared for practice Wednesday clouds his availability for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Posluszny is a far better IDP linebacker than real-life...
Richardson sex tape all over the news and I guess the internet. 3 women, iguess he wanted to match his ypc
seriously, I thought only d list celebrities do this to try and gain fame, or maybe thats what he is trying to do, get some reality tv show because he sees the writing on the wall HE SUCKS...
thats impossible, Brees is a black loving zulu dancing wigger that wants to only turn black players into hall of famers. (sarcasm)
I think Brees can relate, Drew wasn't as fast but elusive, knocked for his height and "lack of arm strength"
hah, on the playing field too? that would suck being tackled. Ive read about barefoot running developing muscles better in the feet and legs, I make sure my kids run barefoot and even have minimalist shoes, which was hard to find a pair that actually looked cool. I just don't know how it would...
I came across some footage of my dad and uncle playing football back in the day, didn't now my uncle set a bunch of records as a runningback at the lower levels but walked away because of a broken leg (which was one of 3 bones broken while he played, I am going to call him out on it next time I...
well you want your linemen to hold a little bit on some plays, just be slick about it, I think its a ref problem because it is subjective, an article put it in better perspective than me, although I disagree about it being the ONLY call that is subjective, just the one that comes up the most...
yeah, Maclin showed flashes early on, but never progressed further, he and Eddie Royal were supposed to be the newest things (now he really fell off). He is a guy thats going to get around 800 yards most years, which is above average for a number 2 receiver imo (not in fantasy terms but regular...
its not bigunrealitis where i think they sit in a room and plan this stuff out it just shows that refs don't think Whites can legitimately make big runs without holding or some type of edge. Just like they use their craftiness and sneaky speed to get open as wide receivers, how else do you...
Hillis was getting hit in the backfield at times so I dunno how much actual holding was going on if they can't stop that from happening.
I recall Woodhead having some plays called back. Pats vs Cards comes to mind, big play for a td, phantom holding called on Gronk.
it could be that we notice...
I think its ref bias, you can't deny that they are more strict about calling holding whenver a White back is in. I saw multiple instances of holding when Rainey was in, pretty sure the guy on the edge was held on the td run otherwise he would have never made it to the perimeter and scored.
or...
i had a bad feeling as soon as Leonard took himself out for a breather. The previous 3 times he came out it was play action down the field with Rainey, it was obvious it was going to be a run and catch the d off guard.
or it is just bias by the ref like "no way he just made that run without a hold going on, he can't possibly have enough burst to hit the hole as fast as the real affletes", it seems like the announcers would have found some instance that could be called holding somewhere along the line, if there...
not only does it hurt our players rushing stats, it doesn't help them get chances in the future, I am sure coaches see this happening as well and think "well if the White back does do well any big play has a good chance of coming back"
I mean the incentive would be to get a great player for...
yeah Leonard running great, Hillis still didn't look in shape when he made that cut, which made it easy for him to cough the ball up, either that or his heart isn't in it.
just a little better than Maclin? I want whatever youre on. Cooper has shown flashes of being an elite wideout in the NFL. Maclin is an above average number 2 receiver on a team that has no size at wideout, Jackson is under 6 foot, Maclin is barely 6 foot. Cooper can stretch the field, get the...
the defensive plan seemed to stop Woodhead from what I saw in the passing game, although he could have had a few more catches and the offense could have caused better mismatches. They should have made up for it by giving him more rushes, he was running well.
I think Riggins should be on there with his 20+ td season, he may have had a low ypc but there are so many other variables to consider. Knocking off Dickerson and keeping Gale Sayers doesn't make sense. Sayers was a very exciting player to watch, but he fumbled 9 times on 232 touches which...
