Playing offensive tackle in the NFL is not easy. But that's the best example of synchronized sumo ineptitude (#78 and #72) that I've seen in a long time. And that's with Myles Garrett out!
Playing all those games in England has really worked out for the NFL. Look at the "mouth watering" talent that the (#72) "Englishman" possesses. Enough to get a 3 year, $39 million extension and just enough to get his franchise quarterback's knee destroyed. By the way, isn't it ironic that the corporate media always accused Dart of playing "reckless", with all his hard-nosed scrambles? Goes down "crunched" from both sides in the pocket, due to horrific offensive tackle play.
The expression on Jack Jr's face at the 25 second mark is notable. That's what you get when you realize you handed the #2 quarterback job to the team comedian/court jester/village idiot

Great post and that clip shows that it was undeniably the fault of both Giants tackles who could not keep the edge rusher from either side away from Dart. They should be getting dragged through the media. The Giants continue to mismanage the QB position. Let's not forget last year they cut Tommy DeVito who had a big following from the fanbase to keep Dart, Wilson and Winston on the roster. Then a few weeks ago Levis gets cut, is available for weeks in free agency and signed by the Jets on Tuesday morning. Giants were not at all proactive in the hours after the injury to even attempt to sign a QB even after seeing Winston's awful play.
Winston is a known commodity, Levis is a very similar player to Dart in terms of skillset. It is a logical match but the racial politics and obvious black quarterback system implemented at the QB position do not play in the favor of Levis.

No doubt the Giants' offensive tackles will not be dragged through the mud, via the media. But it's 100% certain Dart would've been if the injury occurred while he was attempting to pick up extra yards, via a scramble. Adam Schefter, Ian Rapoport and others of their "ilk" would be all over the ultra popular, blonde-haired, blue-eyed fan-favorite his for reckless playing style. Same criticism would not apply, for example, if Lamar Jackson was injured scrambling.
There is no Jeff Hostetler coming to save Jack Jr. and Rodent Sr. DeVito, at the very least, provided the team and it's fan-base with some "juice"/energy. Made no sense to release him and keep a washed-up Russ Wilson, but they did it. Patriots benefited.
As far as Levis, it would make a ton sense. Too much sense, actually. But right after he was cut by Tennessee, it was reported the only team with serious interest in Levis was the Jets. They got it right. Expect the Giants to try to trade for a quarterback that has ties to Jack Jr. or the Rodent. Perhaps the Rodent will pursue Justin Fields?

Florio from PFT is goymaxxing and bring up Kaepernick as a potential option. Levis makes complete sense just from a skillset as he is very similar to Dart. What the media isn't talking about though is that the Giants are openly admitting they made a mistake signing Winston to a 2 year 13 million dollar deal 3 weeks ago. Amazing how that small detail just gets pushed under the rug. Harbaugh has come out and said they will bring in a veteran QB - they already have Winston and Haener (two veterans).

You're not joking.
The sumo starters are slated to earn $157.5 million from the Giants the next few years. The ex-first round pick that got his quarterback crunched from the left side (that knee busted) is signed for 5 yrs/117.5 million; the much less heralded "Englishman", from the mean streets of London, is signed for "only" 3 yr./39 mill. The pair is being paid over $36 million this season. The hit on the franchise quarterback was especially egregious, as both had to whiff simultaneously for it to happen.
Meanwhile, Jack Jr. will be lucky to post a 7 win season in his first year as head coach, because he has no viable backups.
Speaking of "Jack's", I only know 3 thing about Jack Sr., who is currently 87 years old.
1) He has close ties to elite schools Michigan and Stanford (coaching), which explains why James Harbaugh played/coached at those schools.
2) As a "legendary" ex-1-AA coach, he coached K.C. Armstrong, best known from his days on The Howard Stern Show.
3) He has Vegas ties (resides there?) and is the one that really hyped up Kaepernick. Apparently, he's been one his biggest fans and hyped him enough that James and the 49ers would eventually use a 2nd round pick on him and discard Alex Smith.
Point? No surprise Kaepernick is being linked to Jack Jr. and the Giants
