Philadelphia Eagles General Thread

Someone mentioned it earlier in a thread that his jersey number was all wrong, but Will Shipley now will wear #28.

I haven’t been more optimistic about a white running back’s chances to become a star since CMC.

Shipley has everything one would want in a modern day, three-down back.

And Barkley seems to always be hurt.

I’m optimistic, cautious yes, but very cautiously optimistic.

If I were a teenager I would buy his jersey. Hoping he becomes a big star!
 
McCaffrey didn’t get 1000 yards his rookie year, hopefully Ship gets a bunch of carries and 5-600 yards....After a year of two, hopefully he starts racking up 1000 yard seasons....

Hopefully he gets a real chance in camp. Would stink if they are bringing him in simply to be their Kyle Juszczyk.
 
Free agency is nearly upon and 2026 season is here.

Be interesting to see what happens with S Reed Blankenship, he is available on the market and Eagles look like they are shopping players, maybe they use the cap space they are looking to create to keep him....
