2025 New York Giants

Kiffin and the Genius are two candidates I would not want. Kiffin is a caste clown and his whole coaching history just backs that up. He failed the first time in the NFL. Belichek would be a disaster for a young QB (see Mac Jones) but I doubt he ever coaches in the NFL again.

I wouldn't mind seeing The Genius fail again and be a national laughingstock. The New York media would eat it up and would also have great sport mocking Billy and his 50 years younger gf. But I do want Dart and Skattebo to succeed big time, so it's important that they hire a good head coach for once. Seems like Parcells was the last one in NY who knew what he was doing. The league is filled with Caste Clowns, and most of them are incompetent to boot.

I’d be happy with Gruden or Spagnuolo. Both seem competent and relatively fair to White athletes. The Giants have to hire someone with HC experience at the NFL level. They have failed too many times in a row with first timers.

Spagnuolo at least gets a mention in this Weenieworld blurb along with a bunch of Caste Clowns and incompetents, some of them comically bad like Pierce. He definitely has been as relatively fair as it gets from NFL head coaches and maybe he's ready for another chance at being one.

SNY’s Connor Hughes believes Browns HC Kevin Stefanski is “a name to watch” for the Giants head coaching vacancy. Stefanski certainly couldn’t be blamed for wanting to exit Cleveland after another season spent coordinating a dead-on-arrival offense hamstrung by Deshaun Watson’s contract. Especially after he didn’t appear to be on Andrew Berry’s page about giving up Joe Flacco to the Bengals in a midseason trade. As we hit silly season, Stefanski’s status will be one of the more important dominoes to watch. Hughes also mentions as names to watch for the job: Packers DC Jeff Hafley, Rams OC Mike LaFleur, Eagles OC Kevin Patullo (??), Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo, Vikings DC Brian Flores, Former Raiders HC Antonio Pierce, and Texans DC Matt Burke.

Daboll's defenders are a perfect example of the instant gratification culture that has infested Amerika 2.0. They can't accept that the current season is lost...but they're in a very good position for next year, with their QB and RB1 already locked in, and an early first-round draft pick that (if they're smart) they'll trade for as much as they can get. But they can't even wait one season, everything has to be now now now for them.
More than that, in a "lost" season there is ample opportunity to evaluate other players, to bring in other players, to snag promising players from other team's practice squads. You don't have to throw in the towel, you might even get better through the process. Too much work, I know.

So Coughlin does not count?

Coughlins Giants were always a threat in the Playoffs.
Yeah Favre's resurgence under McCarthy was derailed by the Giants in the playoffs and off he went to Hell or as we know the NYC Jets. There his biggest splash was sending pics of his penis to some young chick. Next up was the 15-1 Packers that had squeaked by them in a great regular season game only to come up short in the playoffs versus the Giants. And basically gave the league a template to play Rodgers, if you could rush 4 and get pressure and drop 7 you had great odds.

Remember both games all too well!

lol @ Favre bit.

Good point on the benefits of rushing 4 and getting pressure!

Dalen Cambre was one of the least valued undrafted free agents after last spring's NFL Draft. So much so, that there was no (online) indication of what amount his signing bonus was. Perhaps he received no signing bonus?

Most figured he would not even stick around long enough to play in a single pre-season game. But that did not happen. Over the summer, media reports were glowing, particularly videos of him and Jameis Winston connecting on deep sideline bombs during practice's. In the pre-season, Cambre and Winston connected in a game. Pair had quite an on-field rapport. Dalen loves running deep; Jamies is famous for throwing deep!

Despite his strong summer, there was really no way Dalen was cracking the opening week roster as a little known white, undrafted free agent. But he eventually (mid-September) got a practice squad spot and has just been elevated to 53 man for Green Bay, with Jameis Winston making his first start of the season.

P.S: While looking up Dalen vids, found this excellent update for Cam Skattebo. Looks great, wish he could play today!

Part of the overrated, ridiculously hyped up in the preseason, underachieving in the regular
season supposed best pass rusher in last years draft.

Disappointing that Cambre received zero offensive snaps but not unexpected. What was however a bit unexpected was Olszewski receiving zero as well. Last week he had 28 snaps or 38%. It is worth noting that only 3 Giants WRs saw the field. So TE heavy but still annoying that Gunner did not just slot in for the injured Slayton.

The Giants new coach not making a good first impression.

Leo, just did a net search for Carter. Immediately, short video snippets from a crappy N.Y radio station come up. Norman Essiason was criticizing Carter, as was Tommy (Turkey) Barber and his Lonsman side kick. Blasting him for the recent "incident".

But how about this: Carter was tagged as a "generational talent" at the OLB position. But in 11 games, and a total of 528 snaps, he has accumulated 0.5 and 1 tackle for loss. Beyond this, he has just 4 QB "hurry's" and 0 batted down passes.:D

Yet, Norman didn't mention this in his short "rant", to the adoring DWF's that listen to that putrid station. And I doubt Tommy did (didn't listen to all of it). They just talk about him needing to be "mature', or whatever excuse?
Congrats, Abdul Carter's stats are now very similar to fellow Big 10 talent Danny Striggow, who has just career 36 snaps! :campeon:

For those that don't know, Striggow was a high impact starter at the University of Minnesota, who went undrafted -- what else is new? Considering the Cowboys DE that killed himself last week was an ex-2nd round pick, I assume Striggow would've been, at worst, an early 2nd round pick if he was black. Comparing Striggow's college stats, size, ect. ... Striggow, who reminds me much of ex-Jaguar Jeff Lageman, had his first career sack (awarded1/2) yesterday.

Freethinker, I was, also, surprised Cambre did not get onto the field on offense. Kafka no doubt wants to overachieve and get the head coaching gig. But does that help the team going forward? Finding some new players that might contribute would seem to be more prudent. Like the mulatto WR from Tennessee with a jewish surname. They can give him all the "looks" they want, but he's been abysmal the last 2 years. His advanced stats since 2024 have been an absolute horror show. Any reason to believe that will change?

It’s pathetic that rodent Nagy is being floated as a potential head coaching candidate and target for the Giants. Remember what he did to Trubisky? That’s the last thing Jaxson Dart needs.

Why not Mangini? He has been black balled from the league completely it seems.

Great minds think alike. I agree that Mangini would be good candidate to be the next coach. I doubt it happens but hopefully I'm wrong.

It’s ironic that another “generational” talent turned bust Thibideaux took the first series reps for future bust Carter! Imagine if the giants tap this mystical upside in both these guys!

How can the GM survive this debacle?
