Broncos vs. Raiders. Denver is one of the best teams to root for with an up and coming young QB and several overachievers on a dominant defense. Zach Allen is having a huge season and Alex Singleton has overcome last year's serious knee injury and again is a tackling machine. Riley Moss is a terrific cornerback. The o-line remains a snow plow.

For the Raiders, go Maxx Crosby and Brock Bowers, two superstars on a perennially bottom feeding franchise.

Bech is listed as a starter on Ourlads but I haven’t seen him yet.

Bech with a holding penalty. He was described as a sort of tight end, receiver, h-back hybrid by Kirk Herbstreit.

Hebstreit knows what he is doing. He follows the college game and knew Bech was a big play WR. The predicative programming needs to be challenged.

He's not perfect but he's come a long way in recent years. He's praised Nix's athleticism a couple of times, called Bowers a generational player, and just now said Allen is one of the most underappreciated players in the league. I've come to like him.

This game is a snoozer....I’m trying to stay up....Go Broncos, but I’d love to see Kenny Pickett get a shot....For God’s sake, the Raiders are 2-6......

I agree, the Broncos offense pretty much took the first half off. Not a single big play by either team other than the catch and run by Bowers and that's his only reception so far. . . boring.

Boring is good for Riley Moss. He is CB1 with Surtain out and there hasn’t been a lot of big plays from the Raider WRs.

Jeanty is 5' 8", the same height as Danny Woodhead, who was almost without exception described as short, little, diminutive, etc. I've yet to come across any negative mentions of Jeanty's height.
They have called CMC the same. He is 5’11” and change. By always called small. A couple inches shorter than Adrian Peterson but only 5 lbs lighter. And Peterson was always called a big back.

That was 3 hours we won't get back. However, the positive takeaway was that the Broncos find a way to win, even if its ugly. That bodes well for tough late season or playoff slobber knockers.

They also cushion their division lead over the bye week Chiefs. 3 ahead in the win column and 2 in the loss column.

Broncos need to get their offense figured out. Glad they won but their offense has been inconsistent all year. The Carroll-Smith led Raiders are just awful. Carroll was an awful choice for coach and it still makes my head explode 13 years later seeing Geno Smith viewed as an NFL starting QB. My disdain for him goes back to the hype he received at West Virginia.

how did Riley Moss look?

Was targeted twice, only real hiccup was a 25 yard completion in the 4th quarter but Geno had around 4 seconds to throw. A lot more zone coverage than usual, probably because Surtain is out (and because Bowers is a matchup problem). Main assignment was Tre Tucker, who is apparently the Raiders WR1 and had his lowest production since week 4. Saw a few snaps where he took Bowers 1 on 1 also. So I'd say he excelled as CB1.

Ricky Pearsall will miss his sixth straight game because of a knee issue. It's pretty much another lost season for him compared to what could have been after having injuries and being shot last year as a rookie. Brock Purdy will probably be active, which is a step forward, but will back up Mac Jones, who gets another start.

Pearsall's career has been frustrating. When he is on the field he is productive and a playmaker. He didn't have injuries that I can recall in college.
