Sounds good’I can do a few more!
Good news! I can chip in this weekend with a few moreMAC is done!
Is there any palatable teams so far? It seems like a lot of them have been dropping in numbers from last year to newer lows
All yours brother! Thanks as alwaysI’d like to claim Western Kentucky and Missouri State! Have em done by end of the day
It crossed my mind back in July to use one of the AI services to assist in these write-ups. I may try on a few I have remaining next week when the depth charts for many of the programs are finalized. It's late in the game this year, but I've discovered a new methodology to help with determining the depth charts we reference.
I think we're pretty reliant on the Ourlads team to do the heavy lifting. Most of our posts probably use their projections as handy guides, and that site is great because it includes player picture thumbnail images. You can usually just scroll over a name and see the face attached to it.
I've tried out asking ChatGPT for starting lineups, and it's cool to get sourced opinions about positional battles. It isn't rocket science, but it will provide links to recent relevant articles. There are a half-dozen different competitive AI agents, so you can pick another model to ask (perhaps with greater accuracy). This won't ever be perfect or even true, but I appreciate that you can see the links that the search engine has used to give you its answers.
Unfortunately, you can't ask the computer which players are white, obviously!

So Google has its own generated AI for when you search on the site.I notice that every time I do a Google search now the results start off with AI replying whether I want it or not. If I click the answer to expand it there's eventually an "ask anything" box. Is that how to engage Chat GPT or is it something different?
Ok thanks, guess I'll start experimenting with it a bit.So Google has its own generated AI for when you search on the site.
ChatGPT is its own independent website www.chatgpt.com. Much like a search engine it scours the internet to compile information for your inquiry. You just browse you it and type what you are looking for in the “ask anything field”. My only personal use of it has been to do my annual corporate ******** performance reviews and refine my resume.
Not a terrible summary considering it is pulling from articles (mostly negative I’d imagine) on the web. I however do not like how both AI platforms do the woke practice of capitalizing only black and not white.Interesting…
From ChatGPT:
Caste Football is a niche sports commentary website that frames American sports—especially football (NFL and college)—through the lens of race.
It was founded in the mid-2000s and is known for:
- Promoting the idea that white athletes are systematically discriminated against in football and other sports.
- Criticizing what it calls the “racial caste system” in athletics, where it claims that white players are unfairly excluded from certain positions (like running back, cornerback, wide receiver).
- Publishing articles, forums, and user discussions that highlight the success of white athletes in sports where Black athletes are more prevalent.
It has often been described by outside observers as a race-obsessed and controversial site, since much of its content frames sports through racial grievance rather than traditional sports analysis.
From Grok:
Caste Football is a niche online forum and discussion platform centered on sports, with a primary focus on American football (both NFL and college levels). It serves as a community space for users to debate, analyze, and share opinions on various athletic topics, including team performances, player statistics, recruiting, and broader sports culture. However, its distinctive and controversial angle lies in examining what it portrays as a “racial caste system” in sports, particularly emphasizing perceived discrimination and underrepresentation of white athletes in certain positions or sports dominated by Black athletes, such as speed positions in football, basketball, or track and field.
Key Features and Content Focus:
• Forums and Discussions: The site hosts numerous threaded forums organized by sport or league, such as NFL teams (e.g., “NFL: New England Patriots”), college football conferences, NBA, MLB, boxing, and even non-sports areas like health, fitness, and media. Users post about games, players, and news, often through a lens of racial dynamics. For example, sections highlight “outrageous discrimination against talented white players” in major programs and discuss racial slotting (e.g., assigning positions based on race stereotypes).
• Important Articles and Posts: A dedicated section curates articles from alternative and mainstream media on topics like racial biases in athlete recruitment, affirmative action in sports, and examples of white athletes being overlooked. It includes threads with hundreds of messages analyzing these issues.
• Media Racism and Stereotyping: This forum collects examples of what users see as biased commentary from announcers, pundits, and writers that negatively portrays white athletes, with over 13,000 messages across nearly 800 threads.
• Columns and Commentary: Features like “J.B. Cash’s Column” provide opinion pieces on sports and race, described as “America’s best column on sports and race,” where users can engage directly with the writer.
• Other Elements: Includes a “Caste Football Time Machine” for historical discussions, “What’s New” updates on recent threads (e.g., 2025 NFL Draft talks), and resources like privacy policies. The site also maintains a Facebook page for broader outreach to fans interested in these topics.
The overall theme promotes awareness of what the community views as systemic racial inequities in athletics, often framing sports as an “unofficial religion” enforcing a caste-like hierarchy. This perspective has drawn criticism for promoting white resentment and racial conspiracy theories in sports, as noted in media analyses from outlets like The Root, which describe it as tapping into broader anti-Black sentiments under the guise of advocating for white athletes. Independent reviews, such as those in The Occidental Quarterly, have referenced the site in discussions of racial barriers for white players. Despite its focus, the site remains active as of 2025, with ongoing threads about current events like the NBA Draft and NFL prospects.
