Polar Bear not cooling down
Rafael Devers was moved to DH after the Red Sox signed third baseman Lance Bregman. Due to an injury they are now asking Devers to play 1B. He is refusing. Imagine signing a $313 million contract and telling your employer to eff off. I guess he has eff you money, so it’s not surprising.

A fine example to reject third world immigration. Looks like Devers is more focused on eating empanadas instead of producing on the field this year.

I can't imagine paying a lifetime .278 hitter with 23 WAR in 10 years. 2.0 WAR per season, that sucks, almost as much as Mike Trout.
BTW Alex Bregman has more WAR, 41.8, more hits, doubles, triples, RBI, OBP., TB's and SB's than Devers and only got $120,000,000. Although only for 3 years. HR's Bregman 200/Devers 206. Devers has struck out 940 times, Bregman-677. Bregman has played in 30 more total games than Devers.

You gentlemen have made it clear that Devers is super over paid and therefore overrated. He’s an “exciting brown guy” so the cucked GMs throw money at him. A good hitter that has been known to be lousy in the field and poor with his conditioning. I’m sure his low career WAR is mostly due to the fact that he’s bad in the field and a poor baserunner. Basically a glorified DH.
