Polar Bear not cooling down
Rafael Devers was moved to DH after the Red Sox signed third baseman Lance Bregman. Due to an injury they are now asking Devers to play 1B. He is refusing. Imagine signing a $313 million contract and telling your employer to eff off. I guess he has eff you money, so it’s not surprising.

A fine example to reject third world immigration. Looks like Devers is more focused on eating empanadas instead of producing on the field this year.

I can't imagine paying a lifetime .278 hitter with 23 WAR in 10 years. 2.0 WAR per season, that sucks, almost as much as Mike Trout.
BTW Alex Bregman has more WAR, 41.8, more hits, doubles, triples, RBI, OBP., TB's and SB's than Devers and only got $120,000,000. Although only for 3 years. HR's Bregman 200/Devers 206. Devers has struck out 940 times, Bregman-677. Bregman has played in 30 more total games than Devers.

You gentlemen have made it clear that Devers is super over paid and therefore overrated. He’s an “exciting brown guy” so the cucked GMs throw money at him. A good hitter that has been known to be lousy in the field and poor with his conditioning. I’m sure his low career WAR is mostly due to the fact that he’s bad in the field and a poor baserunner. Basically a glorified DH.

A's Jacob Wilson continues the strong start to the season - currently tied for 2nd with 58 hits, .333 batting average, 5 HRs, 25 runs and 26 RBIs.
Phillies beat the Pirates 1-0. Paul Skenes took the loss despite only giving up one run and 3 hits over 8 innings. Skenes is 3-5 despite a 2.44 ERA. The Pirates are a joke organization and Skenes needs to get out of there as soon as possible. I knew it last year when they had a shot at the playoffs but they decided to shut Skenes down and tank the rest of the season. The Pirates don’t deserve Skenes.

Mike Trout back in the Angels lineup for the first time in a month. He is 1-2 so far. Angels lead 1-0, bottom of the fourth.

Mike Trout went 3 of 4 today. Great to see him as the designated hitter. It's a smart move with all of his injuries. What a shame as he was an amazing outfielder. So athletic and it seemed like he could chase down most fly balls along with robbing so many hitters of homeruns!

Trout went 1-1 and 1 RBI yesterday in his only AB,
Tonight he's 2-2 with his 10th HR and 3 RBI's. If he could just stay healthy!
Just watched the video. 454 ft over the Green Monster in Boston!

Alonso with 2 HR's last night is still dominating the $765 million dollar man Juan Soto. Alonso is leading the league in doubles and RBI and beating Soto in almost every statistic except GIDP which means grounding into double plays. Soto does lead the league in that category with 13! I believe Mets management had to speak with Soto about his lack of hustling. Imagine having to tell a person that makes $765 million to do his job and to hustle more on the bases. Clown World! Soto batting .232 BTW.
Alonso's contract is nothing to sneeze at. $54 million/2 years. Hopefully he gets a long-term extended contract soon!

Sounds like Albert Pujols (all time leader in GIDP) and Molina (#15 all time in GIDP). Both would jog to first base on grounders. They didn't care and did not hustle at all. Molina is the most over-rated player in MLB history in my opinion.

Alonso another HR last night and two more RBI to remain the league leader at 55. OBP percentage is up to .394? BA .298!
Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh, whom I know nothing about is leading the league in HR's, (24). He also has 6 stolen bases in only 7 attempts. Pretty good percentage!
1B Soderstrom had 2 HR's and 6 RBI for the A's
SS Wilson was 3-4 3 RBI and 3 R's..... I wish the A's were a better team. Current record is 24-40.
CF Max Muncy 2 HR's 3 RBI is a 22 year old rookie
