Great team to join. He isn't guaranteed to play/start right away here, either, but PJ Fleck demonstrably plays white players all over the field.

Cabana dealt with injuries the past few years and saw the field for very limited number of snaps. He finished his two-year Michigan career with just two career carries, both of those came during his freshman year. Cabana decided to stay in the Big Ten Conference.

I started seeing this summary recently, and it was news to me! I recall that Cabana missed a lot of this past season's spring camp with an injury that was never really disclosed. Michigan puts out a pre-game injury report each week, and Cabana was never on it this year.

The simple scouting report on Cole out of high school was that his lightning speed might not translate at running back because his build was too tall and thin. He's put on good weight each season and was no longer much of an outlier, starting the year at 6'0, 208 lbs.

The running back position is "always injured," but the perception an injury history can really harm your evaluation. Anyway, he will have a clean slate at Minnesota to show his stuff in a power conference.

NAU safety Alex McLaughlin transfers to UW. I’m a UW fan and of course like this but hopefully he’ll actually play. He’s a sophomore and better be expecting to probably be a special teamer till his senior season.

The huskies just had S Tristan Dunn who looks to be an awesome former 4 star prospect hit the transfer portal…

Vinnie Sunseri is their DB coach.

Dunn was projected to eventually start someday, he was a better prospect than McLaughlin. Hoping McLaughlin is here to play and not be a wstd…

I noticed Wisconsin is linked to 6’7 Northwest Missouri State DE Langden Kitchen. He had 40 tackles and 5.5 sacks as a Sophomore at D2 level. Looks like just about everyone is after him now. Amazing how a 6’7 White DE can just fall through the cracks like that.. Kansas, Iowa, Iowa St., Missouri and Wisconsin all vying for his services.

Kitchen to Missouri. Those dickwads should have offered out of HS. Instead chose to let a D2 school develop him for a few years and then they swoop in with the $. Either way, looks like Mizzou will have at least one honkey on defense this year.

Interesting that Sunseri is their DB coach! McLaughlin Sounds like a good pickup from FCS level.

Quite the opposite of what I thought he’d do. But also makes sense as far as who was interested in Wisconsin and its budget.

McLaughlin definitely is a great player, he’s actually a bit of a productive ball hawk.

It’s hard for me to predict his spot on UWs depth chart. UW has 3 seniors who I think are not returning. There actually is a chance he winds up starting. He’s competing with 1 sr and the rest are jrs, nobody stands out. I’ve heard some rumblings of coaches liking a couple guys in the future, that’s it. So the safety position might be wide open.

Also to anyone reading, keep an eye on former UW safety Tristan Dunn who’s in the portal. He’s a 6’4” 4 star who hits like a heat seeking missile.

Wisconsin just landed a 6’3 215 Safety in Matt Jung. D3 player from Bethel had 100+tackles and 9 INTs last season. Should have 3 more years of eligibility.

Honestly surprised Fickell is putting together the roster he is! They said they wanted to go Moneyball approach in this madness. So ya helps the overachievers. The Idaho WR looks nice! Awesome he’s already being penciled in as a starter !
