i re registered and am now leonardfan1...i could not remember the email address i used
Seem to have everything right, although I can't get any avatars to load properly. I'll keep playing with it a bit.
Edit: Scratch that, seems to be in good shape.
Did you receive the email that was sent out to all registered users earlier today? Even if you didn't you can still log in under your original user name. Nobody should re-register under a different name unless for some reason they can't log in after all methods have been tried.
I did not recieve an email and did try everything else that I know of. I apologize for making a new user name.
See if this works: If you would prefer to reset your password directly on the site, browse to www.castefootball.us and try to log in. When the login attempt fails, you can click the "Forgotten your password? Click HERE" link.
I should be ready to go, now.
The place looks great! BTW I didn't get the mass E-mail. I had recently changed the address; perhaps that's why?
I was trying to add a video to a thread but the option wasn't there. I presume this is still to be sorted out?
good job on the new forum!
pretty much had the same question as the last poster about posting videos.
where is tjr's essays "arguing the caste system on youtube" ad JC's essay on Peyton Hillis?
What forum was it in? How long ago was it posted?
Quick post to check the timezone used.
C Darwin, is this what you are referring to http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...ts-on-Youtube!&highlight=arguing+caste+system
Another timezone test.
tjr had written 2 essays on arguing with youtubers. they were originally posted on the caste football front page but had been 'bumped' off. those two essays, along with jc's hillis article were legendary and important to the arguments that we put forth.
imho, those essays should be archived like the jb essays are.
If you're talking about an actual article, the vast majority of them have not yet been moved over from the old site to the new site. Nothing is going to be deliberately excluded, whether it is from the board or an article.
Tis the Destroyer from Dixie
Hello CF brethren. The new site design looks nice Don!
Hopefully, this forum will be working throughout the ever-nearing British Open! It's good to be back!
Deadlift and Dixie, good to see y'all on the new board!
Good to be back Colonel!
Good to see everyone again as well. New site looks pretty spiffy, and it feels good that many posters contributed to help Don make it happen.
Everything looks good! Thanks Don, and everyone else who contributes. It's good to see some of you back in form!
Glad everything is up and running as promised! I'm happy that everybody's contributions have gone to great use. Hopefully this will be a launching pad to alter and abolish the caste system once and for all, as I think we have really made a difference here. Here's to years of great information from CF!!!
This is my first post since reregistering (I haven't changed handles). Site looks good. I miss the drop box for moving from one sub-board to another though. Is the drop box for changing boards going to be added eventually?
The new site takes some getting used to, expecially how new posts are all mixed together rather than separated into groups (NFL, College Football, Happy Hour, etc.) like the previous site. Of course the new webware should make it easier for folks who most often browse other sportssites to negotiate as it is much more in-line with what they are used to.
