A Thursday night Coal Bowl kicks off the week, featuring two of Leonardfan's favorite quarterbacks, Michael Penix and Jordan Love.

Hopefully Lukas Van Ness can keep his breakout going, otherwise little to care about in this other than Tucker Kraft.
 
Both QB’s looking like crap....
I’m turning in.....snoozer.

Hoping the Falcons win to keep GB down.
Maybe the D2 kid for Atlanta can get his chance later this year.
 
The Blackers are a laughing stock. Love is a worthless QB. The fact he puts up the stats he does while being below average just shows how inflated the passing game has become.
 
Van Ness working mostly against LT Matthews, which may account for his output to this point compared to the past two games -- 4 tackles, 1 solo, and one near sack.
 
Dean Conners elevated to active roster for today’s game. Apparently for special teams duties primarily. Hopefully he stays.
 
Would love to see Eli Heidenriech get some action today with Rico Dowdle still out. Of course, even though he was the third RB and therefore 2nd RB now should mean he gets touches, he likely will have to serve his racial apprenticeship or be lucky enough to get a Hillis like situation where every available back is down before they give him any meaningful touches. Hiedenreich is the closest thing to CMC I have seen. HIs combine numbers, running style, and ability to catch the ball look exactly like CMCs abilities.

That is just unreal. I was skeptical about his potential usage but I couldn’t have even guessed that with 1 other healthy back on the roster, they’d just bring up PS guys and make him inactive. Wow
 
Kelce looks like he turned back the clock with a 48 yard reception already.

Cam Skattebo just had a 30 yard reception himself.
 
Skat has little room to run so far.

That really sucks about Heidenreich. I was hoping to see flashes of him.
 
Believe it or not, this is the first time the Steelers have scored more than 7 points in the first quarter in 70 games!
