LOL Doubs dropped a perfect pass by Drake Maye. Maye forces a bad throw resulting in a 2nd INT the next play.
 
One of NE's shiny new toys Doubs with one of the worst drops you will see. Guarantee Chism would have caught that 100 out of 100 times. Next play Maye is forced into a tough spot and throws a pick.
 
George Kittle was removed from the injury report and will play tonight in Australia, much earlier than was predicted after tearing his right Achilles tendon. McCaffrey is healthy, no injuries now on SF except of course for Pearsall.
 
It will be fun to see Kittle playing again this year! Hopefully he and McCaffrey can avoid any catastrophic injuries and make it the whole season. I see they just lost one of their best defensive tackles. Black dude but I think he was solid up front. Not a good start for the 49ers.

As for last night’s game, the two black running backs ahead of Larison averaged a combined 2.5 yards a carry. Why not give Lan 4 or 5 carries and see what happens? Maybe next game.

Indeed. Stevenson is really not impressive and they force fed him all game. Kiner I mentioned earlier looks below replacement level. I think NE might have acquired him to be a special teams guy as the RB3. He clearly does not look like a real RB with his pathetic performance yesterday.
 
Stevenson is just 28 but definitely looked slow last night, and with no moves. His expiration date may be up sooner rather than later but they'll continue to use him heavily this season and they also have the injured Henderson in addition to Kiner. It'll be tough for Larison to stay off the practice squad much less be used barring similar injury scenarios.
 
Good game tonight with Stafford, 4 TEs, Landman, and Fiske for the Rams and Purdy, McCaffery, Kittle, Tonges, and Bosa for the Niners.

Too bad Max Klare is buried on the Rams. The 61st pick in the draft is inactive tonight.
 
Nice drive by the Niners leads to only 3 points. CMC looks good but he was subbed out a few times. 3rd and goal from the 2 and Purdy throws incomplete. Would have liked to see a run for a score.

Rams have the better defense. 49ers need some white faces.
 
ILB Speights of the Rams shaken up, Shaun Dolac currently in for him. Dolac should be starting over Speights, hopefully will be the full-time starter soon. Landman and Dolac would be a dynamic duo at ILB.

More touches is an understatement. They flat out ignorred Cmac most of the half despite him itching to be in the game. You could see
he was not happy.
 
CMac with runs of 14 and 16 yards back to back…he looks good and explosive. They probably just want to ease him into a full workload as he was banged up.
